Patrick was sitting alone, office darkened to his liking to help him clear his mind. Work was slow, a fact that didn't bother him much. He started letting his mind wander into its depths, finding it much easier in his new form. Memories were more vivid, even the ones he preferred not to consider. 

When he heard the door, he barely looked up, voice remaining soft. "Enter with care... and don't waste my time."
