Peter Parker who runs a moving company that is a non-profit.
They help anyone who needs a hand moving that's in a tough spot. Abusive partner? If your over the age of 18 help you out of an abusive home life? Scared to leave cause they threaten you and your pets/kids? They send someone who will help pack your things, stand guard and help you get out the home. Get you set up in temp housing/shelter til you can find something.
Peter made sure they applied for grants to help fund the business - then fundraisers to help supplement. Reaching out to big donors to see who wants involved.
Now the only PROBLEMS that they tend to run into, is that Peter mainly hires mutants to help. Gives them a job, they help people its a win win. But people don't take KIND to the fact that their victims are being taking away from " not normal people"
The Avengers were now in Peter's tiny studio apartment above the office building in a small part of Queens. Because someone put in a complaint that ALIENS or ENHANCED folk were kidnapping and running a human trafficking scheme of NORMAL people.
And because no one bothered to ACTUALLY read the file all the way. That it was just a "tip" but all they read was human trafficking by enhanced and they all rushed to investigate the company creator.
And that is how Peter who is brushing his teeth in his boxers at his sink turns as the door is kicked in as Captain America, Ironman, Winter Soldier, Black Widow and HawkEye try to squeeze into the studio apartment.
