another beautiful part of leverage is also how ready the team is to commit to anything that even mildly resembles a bit instantly and with full conviction. truly the no questions asked we lie for fun here family
a delightful part of leverage to me is also how much of the stuff they pull off is so insane that if the marks try to explain how they ended up in that situation noone ever believes them because who the fuck would even do something like that. they get away with it just because of that so often and it's awesome
the thing about listening to bands who are not particularly well known who are named after a somewhat common concept is that it's absolutely impossible to do a sensible internet search about them
so i've started playing cultist simulator
(Reblog mit deutscher Version folgt)
tldr: theres an ad with flickering lights currently prominently displayed at a major train station in berlin, and i'm asking people to join me in bothering the adspace company about that.
So. at S-Bahnhof Friedrichstraße (a very central train station to local public transit) in Berlin, Germany there's currently an ad being displayed on giant fucking displays that has a sequence with pretty prominent flickering lights. prominent enough to give me a headache at least. so this post has two functions, for now
a warning to people with photosensitive epilepsy. i saw it play there as of today (7th July 2026). it's a pretty short sequence (1-2 seconds) in an ad that first shows a young white woman with dark hair wearing headphones in a only very dimly lit surface. i know for sure it's being played at platforms 11 and 12, don't know about the other platforms.
to ask people to join me in contacting the company responsible for getting ads on those displays to complain about it. ideally you'd be able to write your own text from the relevant details, but i'll put a translation of what i wrote here bc copy-pasted e-mails would still be preferrable to no e-mails.
The details in question:
where: S-Bahnhof Friedrichstraße, Platform 11 and 12
what: an ad on a big display having a short sequence with very bright flickering lights. i unfortunately can't remember the name of the company, but it shows a young white woman wearing headphones pretty much the entire time.
why a problem: epilepsy trigger (that can kill people in the worst of cases). also headache trigger but that one's a bit less dire. it's in one of the busiest stations in Berlin, thus likely to be seen by a lot of people
what we want them to do: stop playing this ad unedited like that, and stop accepting ads that do this without further editing
whom to bother: the adspace company Ströer. to be contacted (according to the official website of the S-Bahn Berlin). further contact details can be found at https://sbahn.berlin/kontakt/?acc=aa368-p11-t5
which mail address: [email protected]
i'm hoping that if enough people show concern over issues like this, they might feel pressured to do something.

top surgery tomorrow. i am so normal and not at all anxious
saw this on my way back from getting groceries and it makes me so fucking happy. aromanticism in the wild!
