He's one of the only characters who's been described with little fur tufts on his head which is so cute but unfortunately I love giving cats hair so he is no longer unique

Anyway he's a "might makes right" kinda guy who was very pro-Darktail before he died in the Kin. He was pretty arrogant and liked to take power where he could, especially after his brother became deputy and he became really jealous. However, he was a good mentor to Yarrowleaf and taught her as best as he could. I'm not sure how I want all the Kin stuff to go down yet so idk how he dies but it is a result of Kin stuff

Hmm, not loving how saturated his dark fade looks compared to his main coat now that I'm seeing it on my laptop screen... ah well, this design is already almost a month old and I don't feel like tweaking it right now.  Maybe later. Anyway, sorry for going so long without posting anything. I actually just stated playing Pokemon games for the first time and got hooked and it distracted me from drawing for a bit. ^^ I finally managed to work up a good backlog of drawings, so here we go with posting them.

For his physical description, Spikefur is described as a heft tom with tufty fur on his head. I tried to make the tufts on his head especially noticeable compared to the rest of his spiky pelt, but I did want to make him overall fairly spiky due to his name. I had a lot of fun drawing the lineart for this boy. ^^

For his pattern, Spikefur is described as a dark brown tom. Since I already designed Puddleshine as a pointed bicolor cat, I figured it made the most sense to make Spikefur a pointed brown cat. He has no canon eye color, but his daughter Lioneye is described with amber eyes, so I decided to give him amber eyes as well.

Overall, other than the weird saturation stuff, I'm fairly happy with how he turned out. ^^
