thank you so much for reaching out with such a kind comment!!! a few people have said they wanted more which i found surprising but i will have to ponder where it would go next.

i really love an ambiguous/open/bittersweet ending. but to tell you a secret, i’m also a massive softie. so when i write an ending like that, however angsty, i’m usually imagining in my head that they find a way to work it all out and be together. even if i don’t quite know how that is.

so maybe what happens is they have another occasion to dance together in the future. but this time, anakin has grown up a bit and doesn’t let the encounter end without voicing what’s between them. that’s what i’m imagining right now. but at the end of the day it’s up to you ❤️
