Yeah sorry you're fucking insane. I followed this blog because I myself am chronically ill. I said mildly disagree because sometimes even if you're contagious you shouldnt skip an OB appointment! But ya know thanks for dragging me for pointing out that its a DOCTOR, you go there when you're sick.
Well clearly we haven’t posted enough about using ableist slurs. Because calling someone insane for their emotions further stigmatizes mental illness and implies that somehow expressing emotion is bad. You wanted a disagreement, you don’t get to decide the fucking degree.
I’m sick of people acting like if they coat their shitty opinions in nice ways that they don’t have to face the repercussions for spouting garbage. You came to me, you wanted to disagree with me. Again you say you’re a follower, but I just don’t understand how that’s possible if you thought this was going to slide under the radar.
Honestly it’s weird to me that you’ve been following this blog and not learned that we don’t trust doctors JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE DOCTORS. They are human beings not magic fairies. And the majority of them only get into the medical field for power, prestige and money.
I KNOW we post about that ALL the time. So where have you been?
And she was a midwife, not a doctor. So you know try to get your terminology correct when you AGAIN retell my experience.
The point wasn’t for sick people not to visit the doctor you asshat and you know it. The point was if you’re sick, don’t require immediate medical attention and can reschedule your appointment so as not to infect other at risk people, that’s the correct option.
But it was more important for you to come back and say naw medical professionals above personal autonomy and choices. My sister wasn’t harming anyone. She was actively trying not to harm others. Specifically people like me since she knows what it’s like when I get sick.
And you still don’t have relevant information to give. DON’T FUCKING SHUT DOWN PEOPLE JUST TO UPHOLD THIS SHITTY POWER STRUCTURE THAT GLORIFIES DOCTORS.
And again, if this medical practitioner is so fucking great, why is she telling people who are two pounds over ideal that they need to diet? That could be water weight. It could be the actual baby, since we don’t know how much they weigh until they are born. It could be plain old muscle mass since she’s a dance instructor. It could be outrageously scaring to her emotional well being as most pregnant people are insecure about their bodies as it is.
That woman has no business being around pregnant people if she’s going to speak down to them about their weight. But you don’t want to talk about that, because then you’d have to fucking admit that THIS MEDICAL PRACTITIONER IS A PIECE OF SHIT WITH PIECE OF SHIT OPINIONS.
And the fact that you won’t even address that particular fact in conjunction with defending a midwife, that you’ve NEVER MET tells me everything I need to know about you. Besides the fact that again, I KNOW we post plenty about fat bias in the medical community, so clearly you’re not reading those posts either.
If you don’t want to be dragged, don’t put your unnecessary and harmful opinions on other people’s posts. You still haven’t said why you know more about pregnancy than my sister. How much experience do you have? Because we have plenty around here.
You don’t give a shit about me or my sister in law, or the vulnerable people at her doctor’s office. You use ableist slurs as insults. So I have no further desire to even have you here.
