#spinoff maybe?

Since it's pride month, here me out for a second. For you VC Andrews fans, you probably remember how Paul and Cathy fall in love in Petals On the Wind, but she eventually ends up (more permanently) with her brother, Christopher. Well let's just tweak it, and instead of the series being about forbidden love/incest make Christopher gay and fall in love with Paul who (rejects his advances because the books make it seem like Paul is pretty straight), and Paul helps him accept himself in a time where being gay was something you had to hide. How many of you would read that? Should I make a spinoff/fanfic version of this?
