Revisiting, spiral or coil? And what truly is the difference? Spiral- "winding in a continuous and gradually widening (or tightening) curve, either around a central point on a flat plane or about an axis so as to form a cone." Coil- "a length of something wound or arranged in a spiral or sequence of rings." Well that's confusing! Is it both? What I love about this illustration is the unilateral versus bilateral comparison. If we look at the #fascia in it's motion from one foot to cranium, it much more resembles a spiral. If we look at the bilateral #fascial highlight, it looks much more like a coil. What's this matter? Conservation of energy. If one of our spirals is more dominant, than the entire/gestalt coil will be leaking. There will be a lack of balance, altered hip height or leg length, or shoulder rotation etc How do you identify your leaks? Or dark zones? #spirals #spiralfascialline #spiral #coil #coiling #dna #fascialfitness #fascialtraining # myofascial #adaptablepolarity # movement #doublehelix https://www.instagram.com/p/CpSlM-MLYzm/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
