1. What choice was your character most confident in making? Did they regret it later?
Talia is confident in all her choices. She feels that life is to short for insecurity. If she is going to act, she is going to do it with a strong hand and a clear conscience. What's the point of regret? It will only make her unhappy, and she has much better things to do with her time than sit and sulk in misery.
2. What choice was your character most troubled with? How did they end up making their decision?
Talia's most difficult decision was to separate from her brother during their travels. Luca had met a girl in Denerim and fallen in love. He wanted to stay in the city with her, but Talia desired to move on. She felt trapped in that city, and she eventually she could not bare the thought of staying any longer. She packed her things and told Luca that they would need to part ways. They had never been apart before. It was the hardest thing she'd ever done.
3. Are they confident in their decisions? Are they flexible? Are they willing to accept feedback from their peers?
Luca tries to be. Sometimes he can be uncertain, but once he makes a decision, he never looks book. He's probably one of the most flexible people out there. He doesn't really have a steady life, so he is constantly adapting to the changes around him. Feedback from his peers is always welcome; he tends to take praise and/or criticism to heart.
4. How do they approach large decisions? What decision-making tools or skills do they utilize? Do they have tricks, like making pro and con lists? Are they impulsive, or more calculating?
Luca can be impulsive when it comes to certain things. He doesn't really think before he speaks, and when he goes into a fight he never has a clear plan. He seems to perform better when he acts instinctively. But when it comes to large decisions - like where he should travel to or if he should end a relationship - he has to contemplate it for at least a day. Sleeping on his problems tends to help him.
5. Do they work well under pressure? How adaptable are they?
Talia works well under pressure, but she has a bit of a fallout afterward. She gets stressed easily, and she can only ignore that stress when she has an activity at hand or a person to distract her. She is adaptable to an extent. When you travel frequently, you have to be. But she does get fussy when things don't go her way.
6. Do the people around them trust their judgment?
Luca has a sort of charisma to him... He could tell everyone that the sun was blue, and they would have to look up and verify that it wasn't before disagreeing with him. He is very convincing, and when he believes that he is right, everyone around him does as well. Luckily he has good character; he never uses his gift of persuasion to lead people astray. Well, not unless they deserve it.
7. Who did they have the most contention with in their party when it came to making judgement calls/big decisions?
Talia had a sort of tense relationship with her father, Anders. He felt that was responsible for her strange connection with the Fade, and took it upon himself to train her. (Hawke taught Luca.) This resulted in a lot of frustration between them. Talia was not a mage, and many of Anders teachings were impossible for her to grasp. Anders pushed her, however. Talia felt that he scolded her more often than he showed her affection. Things were difficult between them for many years. She's only very recently coming to terms with it.
8. Are they more creative or destructive?
Luca is creative. He is actually best at Creation magic. He has a passion for glyphs and healing, and the opposite magic tends to disturb him. He'd rather build a village than raze it to the ground. But when it comes to this sort of thing, he has a bit of a narrow view. Creation and destruction have a more complex relationship than he realizes.
