Radio Alhara mixes راديو الحارة

I have been hosting a monthly mix residency at Radio Alhara mixes راديو الحارة in Palestine this past year, I put together the joint mixes worked on with various musicians and record labels, including Including collaborations with Jim White, Ken Vandermark, Narcy, AMEK collective, Xarah Dion, Sanjay Mistry (MailTape), Youngbloods records, Sessa, David Solnit, Jarrett Martineau, you can listen to all the mixes here.

streets in Montréal feel like fall now.

working hard to mobilize also, maintaining the struggle.

memories of anti capitalist gatherings in Brooklyn now.

my mind is walking in Manhattan so often, it remains.

soirée bénéfice for Rawan in Gaza II

a grassroots effort in Montréal to support Rawan, a medical student studying at Al-Azhar university in Gaza, Palestine. Rawan is a eighteen-year-old Palestinian student, who is a part of community efforts to strengthen local medical infrastructure in Gaza, Palestine & is currently studying to be a doctor, but needs financial solidarity & support, due to a low family income within the context of the ongoing Israeli military siege & navel blockade on Gaza. this effort is organized by Stefan Christoff & is taking place in collaboration with a Palestinian family in Montréal to support Rawan. this fundraising effort aims to raise $4000 before the end of 2018 & will start with this DJ night at Casa del Popolo, on Saturday, Nov. 10th, starting at 22h, 10% of all sales at Casa from that night will go toward this effort, will organize a couple other fundraising efforts in the next months, this evening will feature a DJ set by Stefan (spirodon) Christoff, musical selections that will also be broadcast as a special mix on Free City Radio.
