Getting Ready!!!

Well still up and at it. Been getting new music for this Thursday, which is my first time Dj'ing and im very excited!!! I will be at the Splash Bar here in Panama City!

I got hit on at a gay bar last night, more than my two gay friends did.

I just read this on a gay club review on Yelp...

let me point this out first: deal with the fact that this is gay bar/club, and meant for gay men. That's just how it is, lets all smile about it, yeah? Granted, it totally sucks that there aren't any real lesbian clubs around, but maybe the lesbians need to come together and do something about it. I saw the bouncer say "you know this is a GAY club?" to a lesbian that ran in for her life, a second after he rejected a group of straight gals wanting to see some gays (one gal per gay). Yeah, its F-ed up, but, its not like there are hundreds of gay spots around... so don't hate on the gays. At least it isn't one of those grimy straight places where "girls free all night, guys, 20$"

Since when the FUCK did the term gay apply only to men? I fucking hate when people are this openly ignorant, and then try to justify it by playing the victim and comparing to something worse - no. The man who wrote this review is just as much of a scumbag as the owners of straight clubs who make it free for women and expensive for men. 

I completely agree with the mindset of the individual who wrote this review though:

had I known the owners treatment of women before today (read reviews etc) I never would have gone there. I dont hate women. I hate misogyny and the patriarchy which has oppressed us both to no end! And I really cant stand gay men who participate in this deplorable attitude. We of all people should know better! Straight gals come to gay bars to avoid being harassed. How shameful that they should only be harassed (albeit not sexually) all over again when they come to one of our places! Lesbians come in once in a blue moon with their gay boy pals. I have no issue with that what so ever. I have many lesbian friends and always enjoy their company.

Ok it's official I have my first DJ gig on the 30th of may. I'm sooooo happy but i'm also nervous but more then anything i'm happy!
