i enjoyed the main story greatly and how its starting to go more into whatever fucking happened with humanity, and the tie ins to other games with how a fucking optional game mode from 2 was actually helping the antagonist bear boss in 3 that we kill in a giant fight in space and subsequently bears go extinct. octavio is our friend now too

THE MUSIC IS SOOOOOOO GOOOOOODDDDDDD DARE I EVEN SAY BETTER THAN SPLAT2S.... the music of splat2 is Good! but the only REALLY good music is off the hooks imo! and dedf1sh. wet floor had good ones but . Yeah. i finf myself listening to so much from splat3 alllll the time, its so good
deep cut as a trio were fun! will be getting into the cons w them later, but i enjoyed their music styles and banter. it always circled back to them being friends forever and bonding over the subject of whatever won the fest :3

overall, better controls imo
also a more helpful overhead visual thing to tell the tide of battle, easier to see who has a special, and when someone dcs. its much more noticable than the first 2 games

changing ranked battles to be one rank across all modes. i like this way more tbh so i can play 3 of 4 and still gain ws? also the point system. i havent gone into debt since like A+ rank over a year ago but its nice to be able to catch up, i suppose?

stage sizes. holy shit. theyre so fucking cramped. there is no space to do anything, the matches are just so? grah. im crazy and i force my way to get 1200p at LEAST per turf match, with my highest being like high end of 1800p, but its ridiculous with how small the stages are
there are... no walls.... how are you going to introduce a new mechanic, squid surge, and not give us any walls to perform them on? qnd i dont mean short little walls/blocks either. i mean walls like flounder heights

Mahi mahi resort also got fucked over from splat1. mahi mahi WAS good in splat1 but because they wanted to condense Everything in splat3, it Suffered the most as it was a very spacious stage once the water went down. platforms and all
scorch gorge is also a cramped map because if you get camped on? thats it, there is no pushing out. you cannot get into the main area again because of how spawn/spawning works and everyone else is pushing/camping. hammerhead bridge also has this problem, undertow spillway also slightly?
challenge time windows are so fucking random and i hardly ever get to play them :/ almost always when im working
replays not lasting very lomg :( as in the data. but eh i get why . still sucks though
good god i hate salmon run so FUCKING mcuh because i physically cannot do some weapons. my hands cannot do sloshers or nozzlenose. i also suck with splatling and chargers but theyre better than dealing with fucking manually press trigger button every fucking time
speaking. of. weapons. :) funniey how the stringer is the New Cool themed poster weapon of splat 3. and. we hardly. got. any. they introduced stringers and splatanas anf then gave us more splatanas than stringers?!?!?!? what thr FUCK?!?!? LIKE ok we got.... 7 stringers including the one from side order, and... huh. okay 7 splatanas as well. it feels like theres more splatanas, honestly? maybe its just the frequency of people using them because theyre intended for melee(? is that the right word here lol)
well. whatever. splatanas are just so grahhhh and they treat every stringer like an anchor weapon but no!! we shouldve had more like reef lux!!! we had shella dualies in splat2 and a lot made their way in here! ugh. also sad about the toni kensa weapons not coming back in splat 3 but whatever
i really enjoyed the story of splat 3 but also they didnt give very much Substance to deep cut beyond the splatcast....? like "oh theyre thieves and theyre kinda working against you uuuuntil youre nice to them and suddenly theyre your ride or die homies." i think they were kinda going for maybe school delinquent vibes? who knows. we should have more info on the manta rays btw.

speaking of fests, they felt like they had WAY greater frequency here in splat3 compared to before? which also felt like they were rushing the game
they shouldve spaced seasons out more (as well as the content within them) to make the game last longer than 2 fucking years. all this they put out? couldve made the game last for 3 or 4, honestly, if it was spaced out more. i hate nintendo for always killing splat off after 2 FUCKING years.

MOST USELESS GODDAMN ULT. i feel bad for that one person who said they had to quit because it triggered seizures for them. it probably triggers it for a lot of people. useless ult. its pretty easy to see the color difference too with some high contrast colors??? and even if you cant, some people know what their teammates look like, and can still go after the right people. its so FUCKING useless its just annoying!!!!!!!!!!
