A strange small vessel of steel is floating its way toward the Inkopolis Harbor, coming from the south east. When it hit the seashore, a door ejects open and steam emits from the opening.
Coming out of the capsule is a young inkling woman with slightly beigeish white ink hair and greenish white eyes. She wore a white kimono with silver embroidery in the shape of trees and birds. She carried with her a strange backpack designed to look like a wooden treasure chest.
She leaves the vessel where it is before entering the city with little memory and no direction.
Splatoon Reboot: Agent 7's Origins: Jason vs. Sarah the Hex (First-Come-First-Serve RP)
Octo-Valley.
How the heck did a rich Inkling from the Calamari County end up here!?! This is hostile territory north of the destination that he is supposed to be going to, Inkopolis.
The inkling appears to be around his teens (getting close to his 20s) and with green ink hair and green eyes, and fair skin. His ride is a stylish three wheel scooter that carries a tank of fuel and luggage bag. Despite the load, it still runs smoothly.
He is at one of the cliffs looking at the view of the canyon. "Okay, I'm lost... maybe I should've turned back to retrieve the map."
Calamari County... The first annual Folk-Singing Contest.
That was the first time I would see her at her finest. And it will be the last week she'll be around.
Marie Cuttlefish. The first friend I made outside my manor. The first friend to ever compliment my job as a newspaper boy. And the first friend to ever say I can do great things someday.
Though... I wouldn't really say we're best of friends. Just kind of friends the see each other from time to time and meet up.
Oh, I didn't introduce myself.
My name is Jason Gatz-Ling Cassius. But just call me Jason.
I am the son of a respected philanthropist and archaeologist, Darla Gatz-Ling, who contributed to the county and preserving heritage. Her discovery of an old civilization and a wild theory about sentient creatures before us, made her rich. What also made her rich was through my father's gardening company and bamboo farm... he isn't around.
As for me... I run a newspaper distribution career, helping parts of the county deliver them to the people. It was something humble and I get a lot of eyes from the other kids but my mother supported my path.
How Marie and I met is a funny story.
One day, I accidentally had my wagon tipped over near a front of a school. A pile of newspapers fell and hit her leg. She wasn't hurt, but she did offer to help me get the pile back together in the wagon. And since then, we hung out... sometimes with her cousin and sometimes with other kids at that school. Did I forget to mention that I'm home-schooled.
When I got news of this Folk-Singing Contest, and that Marie and her cousin would be participating, I must be there.
It took a while to get backstage and sneak my way to meet the competitors. I did flaunt my status as the son of a philanthropist... but I was told my mother contributed to the contest and let me in anyway. My mom doesn't know I'm at this contest.
I stop my one of the full body mirrors. Maybe a salmon-colored suit with white dress shirt and blue bowtie is bad idea. I keep his hair tied back with a black hair back with white ring with a white circle in that ring to make an eye. It's a preference.
I'll make this appearance work.
I took a while to find Marie and...
"I am really really really really really really nervous!" There's Callie, Marie's cousin.
"Same here," Marie sarcastically responds.
"Marie! Callie!" I approach them and adjust my bow tie.
"Jason?" Marie turns to me.
"Oh, hey, Jason!" Callie can't help but wave, and then she looks confused. "Are you taking part in this contest?"
"Why no, actually." I shake my head. "I just came back stage to see you two... but mostly Marie."
"Me?" She is surprised.
"Yes." I then immediately hug her. It's only for a second. Then I let go. "I want to say good luck... both you."
"Why.... thanks, Jason." Marie looks to Callie while gives a smile and a thumbs up. Marie then sighs. "I appreciate it, Jason."
"I better go." He gives a bow. "Break a leg."
...
I will never forget how Marie and Callie sang and dance on stage for the county. Their singing is adoring and it got them a trophy and a certificate.
It's a night to remember.
But ever since that night, we see each other less frequently. I didn't even see them at the school they attend. When I visited their home, I learn they moved.
Their neighbor told me they left for the train station, so I visited that area, thinking they would still be there.
They weren't.
I sat near the train platform and felt confused. I'm not hurt or anything, but I just wished I was told earlier.
With blessing from his mother, Jason left Calamari County for a long trip to the city, Inkopolis. This will be a massive change in his life, leaving behind his luxurious manor and the humble job and routines in the County.
All he has with him is luggage, an electric scooter with some spare batteries, the clothes he's wearing, and a stolen Agent license. He also has a map.
This is farthest he's been from Calamari County. Homesickness lightly lingered in his feelings.
But there was one reason he was doing this: Marie.
After she left Calamari County some time after the first annual Folk-Singing Contest, Jason continued his newspaper boy job and improved on some things.
When he was old enough, his mother gifted him an retro electric scooter with a compartment to keep a spare battery and small rack to help transport and deliver thing. He also balanced the style and presentation of ensemble, keeping a vest and long-sleeved shirt while trying out either slacks of jeans.
He also stopped getting home-schooled and attended the school that Marie and Callie attended. He eventually finished there and attending high school. When he graduated there, he had no plans to attend college. He remained with his mother for a while shadow her in her archaeologist career (while attending her public parties at one of the estates they own.)
But one a month, he would stop by the train station to take a seat and enjoy his surroundings. At the same time, he is also reminiscing his time with Marie.
He tried to move on by hanging out with an inkling named Katie Malory, but that relationship didn't go anywhere for him. He did discover something interesting: she was holding a secret connected to Inkopolis.
Finally, his mother decided he should go out to Inkopolis, even blessing him safe travels. Jason chose to go by scooter instead of train, wanting to enjoy the sceneries and take his time along the way.
Octo Valley... isn't like any of the place he passed through while on the way to Inkopolis.

I have posted here in a while and I haven't don't much other than reposting other people's Splatoon content.
But... I am here to tell you that I'm still alive.
Agent 7's splatoon storyline has been finished years ago and I promised to do a reboot, but so far, only a few artworks and an RP thread was a start (a Splatoon 3 storyline focusing on his sister was made but left as nothing but notes.)
I also had to prioritize my non-splatoon content in my other accounts and on other platforms (I have a multiverse to work with). I didn't have a heart to declare this account has reached its end.
Even though, many who were a part of this Splatoon Rp community are long gone and moved onto other things, I still want to keep their legacies alive and provide good memories.
With that said I've I have a poll as I decided to do some story writing for March.
For the Splatoon Reboot, how should I retell Agent 7's story?
Narrate like a Extra History.
Narrate like a character from Game of Thrones/ASOIAF
Splatoon Reboot: Possible First-Come-First-Serve RPs
Prologue: Farewell, Marie
Agent 7's Origins: Jason vs. Sarah the Hex
O-Namazu Origins: The Blobfish Take-Over
Agent Beta-1 and Beta-2 Origins: The Exchange Students
Agent Eta and Theta Origins: A School Experiment Gone Wrong
Agent 7.5 Origins: The Adopted Sister
Darla Origins: The Charles-Ink-Ton Lady of the County
Note: These are all working titles but I am reopening my first-come-first serve policy with open RPs, so those interest have to be committed to the episodic nature of my story writing.
Update: Most of these will become stories instead if I feel they're worthy.
