Well because every match you're almost guaranteed to see one, let's cover countering aerospray. This is a rough one.

1. An important note to keep in mind is the awful range on this thing, keep out of it's range and you're good as gold.

2. A good aerospray player will try to stealth or flank the hell out of you. So keep an eye open for them coming from behind you. Or on top of a nearby wall. Or anywhere you're not looking.

3. A bad aerospray user will charge you head on. Just shoot the moron.

4. If there is an aerospray on the opposite team you can see them moving on the map because they will paint their own flank route ahead of them. This is less recommended to use as a strategy but still viable, especially if you are able to actually speak with your team.

5. Pray to whatever God you praise, and if you don't have a god? Your god is your weapon. Pray that you kill them first.

So you want to defend yourself against a charger. Well buddy that should be easy enough as long as you do any of these simple things

1. Move unpredictability

2. Throw a bomb if possible

3. Stealth the hell out of em

4. Shoot first.

Because I'll do anything to delay talking about countering my main weapons I'm going to teach you how to counter a Splatana.

1. Splatanas want to use their upwards slice, they want to so bad that if you're close you can usually bait it out since it has a lot of end lag.

2. Stringers and Chargers have an advantage with longer range as long as you don't miss your shot.

3. Splatanas shoot very rhythmically. To the point you can squidroll through one of their shots to trick them and be able to get another good shot in.

4. If they have lower health, stay out of their upwards slice range but you can tank the hits from the sideways slice.

Let's see... Doing another shitty guide on countering weapons... Let's see... Dualies? Yeah, dualies.

1. Dualies will either never roll (because they forgot they could) or will instantly roll twice.

2. With dark tetra dualies they think they two extra rolls gives them better movement and dodging capabilities. They will always roll four times.

3. I often see dualies roll in two ways. One way and then back where they started... Or twice in the same direction. Use this against them.

4. Throwing a bomb will always be a good idea as you essentially cut down a ton of their options for movement all at once.

5. A bad dualies user will only swim if out of ink, the rest is dodging. A good one is going to keep you on your toes with where they are.

Alright so here's one that can be put in an extremely simple term.

Brushes, both ink brush and octo brush.

1. If they are in short range to you? Pray that they can't press the button extremely fast.

2. Splat them before they can get close.

It's like saying "don't get grabbed." In smash bros Melee against ice climbers. Sadly though that's the best you can really do.

Alright so I know which weapon I will do last and I have a list of all the types I have left. Let's do... Splatlings next.

(Note that the ballpoint and the Nautilus splatlings are very different from the others. The best chance you have at them is making them run out of ink)

1. The universal greatest counter you can do is... Bombs. Preferably any that could be lethal and are visible. This will force them to either get splatted or waste their charge.

2. While the mini splatling isn't as weak in this department, abusing the long charge time of the heavy and hydra is a strong choice. Just keep on them and take them out before they can charge. They're slow and often face you as they try to be able to fight back.

3. Their ink is constantly depleting fast. If you can catch one on low ink, you have the complete upper hand.
