Hello everyone! My name is Uli and i am Co-Directing this project with @Dynamotoon. we are looking for voice actors for our splatoon based web series called Splatoon: Inkpocalypse. (DISCLAIMER: this is all purely for fun and you will not get payed :p) *Also, there is no deadline but the SOONER the BETTER* i will edit the post if we find all of our characters.
INSTRUCTIONS: - read each line three times in three DIFFERENT ways. -one recorded upload your audio file to tumblr with the hashtag #splatooninkpocalypseauditions. NO spaces and NO caps.
IF YOU GET CHOSEN: if you get chosen we will contact via private message. we will send you a link our Splatoon inkpocalypse Official Discord server. and from there you meet Dyna and i and do a live audition to see how well you can take direction. especially for leads. and after you are officially cast!
also, you may audition for as many roles as many roles as you like.(though you will most likely only get casted for one but we are open to casting one person as different characters) You CAN audition characters of the opposite sex.
We are in early stages of development and we cannot release too much of the plot. So in this post we will give you the character’s name, a brief character description, and their lines. good luck guys!
Brooke:
she is very forgetful and kinda dumb. but she is also very caring and has a big heart.
- “awww you guys are the best!”
- “don’t worry i wont forget the plan. I wrote the whole thing on my hand. they got a bit sweaty so i will need help under standing what fifljkschloukf means.”
Dylan:
he is very silent. he speaks in a very monotone fashion. kinda like Ferb from Phineas and Ferb or Ice bear from We Bare Bears but not to that extent. he always refers to himself in the thrid person.
- “Dylan could use some Excitement.”
- “Dylan senses a 90% chance of failure. Dylan has a bad feeling about this.”
- “Dylan is amused”
Zeke:
He is confident and upstanding. he gives off a sense of “I’ve got everything under control.”
- “no prob. anyway, i’d hate to delay you any further so we’ll leave you be. Good luck on…what ever you’re doing.”
- “We can do this if we fight together! WHO’S WITH ME!”
- “you heard me. scram!”
-“Zeke… Zeke of the Omega squad”
Brock:
he is a huge jerk. he likes to push people around. like a bully. even though he is a jerk, i him to stay more grounded in reality.
- “Listen you two. As soon as i we get on the battle field, you’re done.”
- “If it wasn’t for you none of this would’ve happened”
- “BOOO! get off the stage!”
Gary:
he is like a goon. we picture him with a gritty kinda voice. he has a henchmen kinda vibe. really i would love to see what you guys could come up with so i am giving you the freedom to play around with him a bit.
- “Yeh yeh, we’re the champs now”
- “oooh. now you’ve done it.”
Petra:
she is a strong spirited bad ass. you don’t want to mess with her.
- “watch it punk. don’t think that just because we are out of the arena, we still cant kick your ass.”

So I realized a bit too late (after uploading my first audition) that I had gotten the order of the lines wrong. So I re-recorded and ordered my lines right. I think this one came out better... Might consider taking down the first one, I dunno.
EDIT: Please, please, search my blog with the audition tag. I don’t know why some auditions aren’t showing up when I search the tag in general, but a friend of mine auditioned and I don’t want her hard work going down the drain... So I reblogged her audition. Hopefully it’ll show up, but just to be sure, please search my blog for more auditions.
