YEAAAH it's very different from like the canon lore but I did base Wil and Q on 8 and 3 respectively. You can't rlly tell tho lol. I have like one fanfiction of this au published and I have a draft that I started where Wil meets Tommy and he shows him around a splatfest for the first time !!

also fiance trio is real in it bc I'm desperate. Sap is an agent like Q is but Karl's just a regular guy and I think that's genuinely REALLY funny when you look at the sources.

ALSO ALSO the idols are Niki and Jack. i haven't settled on a name for them 100% but it's gonna be smthing along the lines of Ring of Fire, bc the the underwater volcano thing. Niki and Wil were in the same squad back when they were still in a rebel group against the octarian army except things went Wrong and they got the whole brainwashing shit, but Wil lost all of his memories in the metro while Niki got to the surface with all her memories. So she kinda has a grudge against him bc she thinks he betrayed the rebel group [ which he did, technically, but he didn't have a choice. quite literally. ]

but he literally doesn't even remember so Niki just sees him in the crowd and is glaring bullets at him and he's like wow that idol woman sure hates someone here !
