oh. it's been almost a year.

ig i should make an update post, huh?

well for starters; i'm not dead! that's cool, right?

this au kinda is though. i'm not really hyperfixated on rottmnt anymore, which is one of the main reasons it hasn't been updated at all, but not only did i powerwash my chromebook by accident, i broke the screen earlier this year.

i still hold a lot of love for this au, as it took up a pretty big chunk of my life, even if it was only for a little while, and i put a lot of effort into what i created for it.

unfortunately, for the above reasons, i think it's finally time to directly say that the Falling From Dawn RotTMNT AU has been discontinued indefinitely.

i owe a lot to those of you who kept following this blog. maybe you were hoping to see updates on how i was doing, maybe you were holding on for au updates that never came... either way, you have my greatest thanks.

maybe someday the hyperfixation will return. i might try to post something for that "open the floodgates" community thing that's going on, but i can't promise anything.

thank you again to everyone who has supported this little project of mine, especially those of you who have been here from the start to the end.

if you wish to send any final asks about questions left unanswered for this au or things you wish to say to me, please feel free to do so. my inbox will remain open for the foreseeable future; i don't plan to ever close it.

hey gang

i dont think i'm ever gonna truly continue this au comic and im sorry to those who may have been looking forward to it

powerwashing my chromebook genuinely ruined all motivation i could've had for this project and it hurts a lot to know that i've lost everything i worked so hard to create.

not only that, but i've just kind of lost interest in rottmnt and i have the brand of adhd that doesnt like it when i work on things that dont interest me :(

i'll still take little low-effort doodle requests and am currently working on a few low-quality screenshot edits but don't expect any full-blown artwork or comic panels any time soon.

if i ever regain motivation, you all will be the first to know <3

another special thank you to those who ever voted for this au in au competitions; i never wouldve expected this silly little au to have enough popularity to even make it into a single one tbh

absolutely wild one, but one last massive thank you to @intotheelliwoods, @somerandomdudelmao, and @amevello-blue; if it werent for you three i dont think i ever wouldve tried to make this au into a comic. double thanks to blue; i was doomed from the start in that au competition being up against ghost in the shell 💀💀💀

IM SO SORRY ABOUT MY UNANNOUNCED DISAPPEARANCE (especially with the au competitions, yikers...) </3

I started hyperfixating on Kid Icarus; Uprising and kind of forgot about this comic entirely. I'm going to post page two in the next few minutes. I'm also going to be switching the early arcs around a bit, as I'm more excited about the arcs that are supposed to come later on, and I'd like to be able to start on those asap so that i can make up for lost time. Sorry again, everyone!

edit bc i forgot; Page two does have a bonus panel, but it is unfinished. I'm going to be posting page two regardless, but when the bonus panel is done, i'll update the post and reblog it so you all can see it!

debating on switching the comic style to something more reminiscent of @\somerandomdudelmao’s style; less refined lines and stuff. would everyone be okay with that? it’d let me get comics out faster (and let me stay more motivated because doing clean lines makes me want to explode LMAO)
