pokémon introduced skin color options like 13 years ago and to this day i have never seen official art of the protagonists as anything other than the palest option. i think if they make gen 5 remakes hilda and hilbert should be black in all the promo material. cards commercials gameplay trailers everything. what if we make it to gen 11 and it's set in another european or asian country and the protagonists are as pale as possible again. why do i never see anybody acknowledging this about pokémon when they do it for other less popular stuff . like i don't even think about it that often it's just every time it pops into my head it does not go away until i go to sleep or something. it is so weird!!!!!! it's so fucking weird !!!!!!!! if gen 11's region isn't based on a south american or african country in favor of europe or asia again i think every person from south america or africa should be allowed to hurt people
