Basically my take on the ending after two weeks
(this was also a bit of a style study)
it came true
Chicken junkies.
And then they really did make their own world. They have to reintroduce themselves but this is his shot at a (somewhat) normal life. That's what Pochita erased himself for - and as seen by how Denji felt his heart thump when Asa called her "Chainsaw Man" it seems like he isn't completely gone, in a sense.
the stakes just kept getting higher and higher and then. there's no real resolution??? literally every single chapter in part 2 was like four billion people dying to some ultra powerful devil and denji being miserable. and the way it gets resolved. is that actually none of that happened anymore. look he's running around with power and now in this timeline he doesn't turn into chainsaw man so he won't get sad. look isn't rhis what you guys wanted!! this is what the fans wanted they wanted wacky hijinx with the best found family siblings power and denji!! look see he gets to hold a chainsaw wow!! pochita WASN'T the chainsaw devil?? haha you guys have been theorizing about that isn't that kind of neat?? chainsaws still exist he has to be something else!! oh looooookpochita is still.he's still there, alright, wow, look at that. he's right there in denji's ribcage isn't that so crazy. wow look asa didn't squish the litrle chicken guy remember when that happened. now it didn't happen so she's happy forever. isn't this such a happy ending and good because i got rid of all the sad stuff. Aren't you so happy that chainsaw man WON and that the war devil can't take over the world now ?????? Isn't it so good that i threw out the entire rest of the manga?,???? And that denji never learned to live with his hypersexuality and he never got a real family who didn't die right away and asa never Did Anything Other Than Be Yoru's Vessel and power never got to come back after makima killed her (oh whoops that didn't happen nevermind) and FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK
