Hi shay what do u think of fresh sans, does he exist in splattertale

I think Fresh is a pretty cool character! The way he toes the line between joke character and serious is handled pretty well IMO. Very complex guy (genderless parasite?) deserving of his popularity. Also joins Ink in this fandom’s AroAce icons ✨🧡💛🤍🩵💙

As for Splattertale >:3

He DOES exist! Very much so!

He’s a side character who doesn’t really play a huge role in the main plot but is still there and is present to a degree in Splatter’s life.

Fresh acts as a babysitter for Splatter whenever the Star Sanses, Ink’s Dads, AND Cross are all unavailable. Don’t worry he plays nice with her (she’s not a very suitable host, and if he hurts her then his friendship with Ink would be in jeopardy. Being friends with the Protector kinda grants you more chances of survival). Splatter just sees him as a bit weird.

He gave her replicas of his sunglasses when she was a baby (does not know how to give small children gifts). The letters can’t change on the replicas.

Anon I hope you know that whenever I get questions about Splatter or Splattertale I get the urge to happy stim.

A few of your questions will be elaborated on in a big Lore Post that I’ve had in the works for a while now, but I’ll answer what I can!!

With that being said:

She acts pretty much the same around Ink as she does with most people, though a bit happier. She’s a very curious, excitable, kind and caring, yet a bit insecure and lonely little kid. She’s impatient to explore all her surroundings and loves learning about others.

That will be explained later, but for now just know that she can’t go back to the AU she came from, so Ink adopted her.

She loves her family, cheesecake, painting with her tail, exploring various AUs (even parts of the Doodlesphere), and more! And she dislikes conflict, physical violence, and having to stay still for an extended period of time.

Her pronouns are She/Her! Though she won’t mind if someone uses They/Them on occasion.

Trust me Ink WAS clumsy and nervous at first. But he eventually got the hang of it (via help from others), and now he’s doing his best as a caring father who loves his daughter very much. He’s encouraging and very supportive, something that comes naturally to him as a muse for the creators. There’s only one of her in this multiverse so she’s quite special to him.

I’m terribly sorry for the lack of proper masterpost or ref sheet for Splatter and this story. I have multiple things I’m doing at the moment but rest assured I will get to it! That’s a promise.

Ooohhh, Splatter’s favorite food is cheesecake? I didn’t know that! Do you think Ink’s made her cotton cheesecake before? It’s also known as Japanese cheesecake- Lighter in texture and a bit less sweet. Apparently, it has a soufflé-like texture when it’s fresh out of the oven, but a chiffon-cake-like texture when it’s been chilled! I’m not even a cheesecake person myself, but it sounds pretty good…

On the note of Ink cooking/baking/whatever for Splatter- Do you think they’ve made her those thick, Japanese style pancakes? They look sooo good… And I think they’d be damn good at Japanese cuisine, heh.

Oh my goodness it looks soooo delicious. Well, I definitely think Ink would bake this cheesecake for Splatter NOW! Look at it!!!! (Though Blue is the main cook between the Star Sanses. But he can’t be around all the time so Ink would likely step in to make meals for Splatter in his absence)

Oh she’d be absolutely ECSTATIC if Ink made her that.

And the pancakes??

oh ABSOLUTELY yes!! And they’d both be intricately decorated by Ink. Nothing but the best for his daughter!

It makes a whole lot of sense for Ink to make Japanese recipes, after all japanese culture is part of his inspiration! Splatter would love everything they cook, even if it’s not the best at first 😅. She’d still think it was delicious nonetheless!

Im sorry if this is a stupid ask but I've been following you awhile and never got clarification: who is splatter's other parent?( other than ink, that is) I've just never seen anyone else.

Oh! That’s actually very easy to explain!

She’s adopted! Ink is a single dad here (who gets help with parenting from various friends and family)!

Sorry if I didn’t make that clear 😅. The lore post I have in the works explains how it happened in more detail. I’m currently working on it on and off between drawings.

But yeah it’s just Ink! And it wouldn’t consider it a stupid ask, dw!

So I have this headcanon that the amount of tentacles Nightmare can summon is affected by how strong he is via Negativity

Like, in instances where negativity is potent he can summon a whole bunch but when there’s not a lot of negativity he can summon very few.
