Marina would definitely fangirl and stan them even harder lol, she's shipped them since the beginning

Pearl would probably find it weird at first but I think would eventually see that they rlly love each other like how she loves marina and it's just society needing changing to be more accepting (which is something she and marina have highkey done before for inkopolis regarding octoling acceptance) she would do a complete 180 and be an open supporter of them if they wanted to come out :)

Frye and shiver would probably bully them about it and use it as a way to dis on inkopolis ngl

But I think big man would be chill about it and not rlly care LOL

OMG lmao I feel like Cal felt like she could get away with that kind of joke in front of OTH if Mar played along (in like the instance of like, mar buying her something small at the mall and her saying like "thanks mommy~" or w/e) but Marie immediately ruins it bc she starts blushing and sputtering and Marina also blushes and fangirls about it LOL

Cal might also say it on accident if she had to beg mar for something or if the two of them just accidentally got to flirty 🤭

Do you think Marina would ship Callie x Marie before meeting them in person?

Oh she definitely had to LMAO she listened to their music and their love songs and READ INTO THEM she probably felt crazy for thinking it at first (even though she thought they woukd be a cute couple and forbidden love story) but the more she learned about them the more she was like 🤨🤨

I like the idea of the Callie x Marie and Emperor x Prince couples reaction to each other being something like "Finally someone who understands"!

YESSSSS awww I love that. I should draw a crossover with them it'd be so cute 😭 I think Prinz would be so star struck and Cal would be happy to see them together n happy and emp and mar would just have fun watching them chat away....

Honestly I think they're pretty comfortable in their relationship and wouldn't mind fooling around w others together. I bet Marina would love to watch them go at it 😭😭

I feel like Marie wouldn't care much and callie might be or at least act a lil shy at first but would probably open up to it quickly

Do you think Callie and/or Marie would ever wear a Splatoween costume they considered embarrassing to make the other happy and/or try to get them to laugh?

Yes! Definitely Callie would set up couples costumes for Halloween and then Marie would show up wearing the other half of a DIFFERENT couples costume 😭😭 think like. Callie wanting them to be salt and pepper and then marie shows up as jelly or something equally as cheesy 😂

Callie would just be exasperated by it.

I also think fancy vs costume party is a good indicator that Marie does NOT care about looking silly in public, especially if it's to mess with Callie 🥰

Marie obsessed with Callie's scent. Nonchalantly goin up and putting her face in Callie's clothes and just inhaling and goin "thanks hon I needed that" or stealing Callie's clothes and not even wearing them, just smelling them cause Callie isn't home and Marie needs to be reminded of her

She basically canonically is, the weirdo 🤣

I bet Callie borrows her clothes all the time bc she likes having more options but Marie doesn't even mind it anymore because they return smelling like her (she tells Callie to not worry about washing them before giving them back) ❤️
