So the ep was decent, but disappointing, I guess.
+ It was fucking hilarious. I was laughing out loud a multiple points throughout the episode. - I was expecting something a bit bigger for the season finale, especially after the last ep. Anywhere else in the season this ep would be great, but as the finale it’s kind of a letdown. + Nothing really bad happens to Kyle! And Kyle and Stan get some good best-friend interaction - interaction that pretty overtly compares them to two couples. - I feel like some Kyle drama was kinda needed after last ep? Sure, the bombing was acknowledged, but emotional fallout from it wasn’t really developed. +The Whites! I mean, come on - who doesn’t love the Whites. - Though I’m glad Heiman is over, the conclusion just didn’t feel like enough to justify all the time that was given the relationship over the season, and thematically, I think it has issues. + Butters is Student of the Day! He deserves it. He’s a good egg.
So, yeah. There’s a ton of great stuff in this ep, but it doesn’t work well as a conclusion to the season. There’s so many threads going into it, and none of them were dealt with well. Still, as a standalone episode, it was funny as hell.
