“That is one tradition I will not be participating in.” Something about a communal fountain of rice was just too much.

@splitcrxd
“ Hmm.... “
Eiden tilts his head looking at the phone he’s got up in his hand, looking for a good angle. Positioned like this you can’t see the foods properly huh? He takes few steps back, fixing the angle as he does.
It seems like someone else has a similar idea though Eiden doesn’t pick it up quickly enough and their backs end up colliding. Good thing it’s not a strong bump!
“ Oop! Sorry! Didn’t see you there! “ he says head turning to the one he bumped onto.
“ Sorry about that. Everything ok? I didn’t ruin the pic or anything? “
“ Excuse me?” really, he might as well have spoken in a different language to her, judging by the look on her face from the request. Olga remembers this person, oh yes she does, and she can’t quite figure out why exactly he’s coming to her for this. does she look like a treasure hunt sort of person?
“ I am not risking being turned into a fox kit because you want a prize for hunting with a tiny pig. No, absolutely not, go ask someone else....whatever your name is.“ and for added measure, she waves her hand in a shooing motion, as if that’d chase him away faster.

Well lucky us, there’s some very nice boys at our school and and we dont gotta worry about any of that stuff here right now so, let's have some sleepover talk deucey ~
"...sleepover talk?"
"Uh, I don't...know what that means, but sure!" It’s like a friend thing, right? He was always happy to do that kind of stuff with everyone he met at Night Raven!
I wasn't aware you were bisexual, why would I assume? I don't believe in making assumptions based on someone's appearance?? third question, any crushes on anyone??? maybe someone we know?
"W-Well, no, I didn't mean it like that I just meant like- I have a patch on one of my jackets. And a few stickers on other stuff? Though I guess you've never really been in my dorm room...and I don't wear that jacket at school..."
"Crushes, though? Uh...I don't know? I haven't thought about that stuff, I've mostly just been focused on all the overblot stuff and...not failing my classes. I guess one of my old middle school buddies was cute but...he has a shitty personality, so it’s a no-go."
Ok follow up question, would you romantically date men?
"Again. Yes, but why do you keep asking me this? Did people not know I was bi or something?"
Hey Deucey, do you like men?
"Do I like..."
"W-! Well, yeah, but- why would you ask that so out of the blue-!?"

18. How long have you been writing the character?
Oh my god thanks for making me realize I've been writing Deuce for almost three years holy shit. I didn't even think about that until I saw this. My three year anniversary for writing him comes up in July I think. Here in Isola though? A year and like...4 months! He and Hifumi are my longest held muses.
19. Should people get into the franchise you're writing from, yes or no?
Yes! Absolutely - Twisted Wonderland is an amazing series with amazing characters. If you're worried about it being Disney Villains turned into anime high school twinks for a dating sim like a lot of gaming sites claimed when the localization first dropped; you couldn't be further from the truth of this game. TWST handles a lot of heavy topics from child abuse, eating disorders, "golden child syndrome" effecting the other children of the family, heavy tones of grief, class differences, beauty standards and heavy expectations placed on influencers and actors, and so...so much more. But my biggest recommendation if you're looking to get into the series is...READ THE TRANSLATIONS. The localization is great in making the series more accessible but it changes a LOT of very important information about the characters and dynamics between them. They water down a lot of things in the ENG version because they tried to make it child friendly. This game is...the furthest thing from child friendly lol. If you play the ENG version, I really just recommend giving the story a second read via the JPN translations to understand the characters better.
