exploration MUSICAL INSTRUMENT 1: An attmept at layout design and blending between greyscale and colour. A note on using the Effects menu in Illustrator, hopefully this has changed since, but when I did this, effects had to be locked in before shapes could be edited further by rasterising the effect layers, this had the unfortunate result of making certain aspects of those layers no longer editable.
