Not Your Captain // Ai + Rin
Rin finished his shower a while back, but he was still in the bathroom. Brushing his teeth, it's not long before that action slows to a crawl, the toothbrush still sticking out as he stares at himself in the mirror.
Tomorrow... He thinks to himself. Tomorrow, it's official... For some reason, the idea of being captain of the team scares him, even though he knows this is a proper step towards his goals of becoming a true professional swimmer.
The conversation with Mikoshiba still even resonates in his mind before he slowly blinks. He seems out of it, staring off into the distance despite looking at himself... But the sound of the door opening behind him startles him, snapping out of his current state. He looks behind him, sharp teeth clenched around his toothbrush and red eyes wide.
But he instantly relaxes once he recognizes his silver-haired kouhai, turning back towards the mirror with a soft sigh. "I'm sorry I'm taking too long." He says with a weak mumble. "I'll be done soon. Sorry."
Although it's not too long before he goes back to staring at himself again.
