Supernatural related question, out of pure curiosity: in interviews, both Jensen and Jared have expressed interest in playing Sam and Dean again (not sure about Misha and Castiel), and that there is the possibility of Supernatural returning down the line for a short-order mini series or movie.
What do you think about this? And if it does return (personally, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get something at somepoint🤞) how do you envison that happening? Where do you think they'll go with it?

I'm really sorry that I had not responded to this sooner but I kept trying to figure out how to answer this question and it had me thinking for a while because it's an interesting question so here we go...
Ok so as we all know, Jensen and Jared hold their characters of Sam and Dean very close to their hearts. It's actually incredibly endearing and genuinely humble that they feel so connected with their characters in the show, especially as not many actors get that invested as such. I think it's far more likely when you play a TV character because you generally end up having the time to figure out who they are and how you want to play them.
I don't exactly know either how much Misha wants to come back to play his role as Castiel but as far as I've heard, he seems to have loved playing the role as our favourite angel, and I'm sure he would happily come back for a reunion special whether it's a movie or mini series.
Anyway so regarding what I personally feel about it... I guess I would be open to the show returning in whatever way they might choose to do so. I remember Jensen stating a couple of months back that he definitely wants to do a special and it could very well happen in a few years time once Supernatural is actually had a bit of a break. I think it's wise because it was on TV for fifteen years so you know, perhaps it needs some time to redevelop?
I've had a mix of love and disdain for the show sometimes over the years only because it has had its errors in the making, and some seasons have unfortunately been written poorly, but as a whole I adore the show and its characters so of course I would love to see them all once again.
I think if they were to bring it back they definitely should consider having Adam!Michael in more scenes. He's an underrated character and I would have loved it if they had explored their dynamic more. But then mind you he's dead so they would have to figure out how he would come back from the empty I guess?
It's obvious that Jack could easily restore Castiel, Sam and Dean back to Earth again if he wanted to. Or maybe an alternate timeline could be created where Dean doesn't die at the end and Sam doesn't grow old without him? Who knows how they would get around it but it could definitely be a time travel thing which they have done before!
I would like to see if Sam's son Dean could have been a hunter too. And perhaps we could have seen Sam's wife as I still think that Jack brought Jess back to life for sure.
I'm not exactly good at spur of the moment ideas but I would say that if they brought the show back, they should listen to us fans a bit more. Not the crazy ones that we all know exist but the sensible ones who would actually have plausible ideas!
I think the best ideas though can be the AU ideas. Like the season 2 episode What Is and What Should Never Be. Not necessarily that specifically, but let's say Castiel had said he had loved Sam instead? (oops sorry a bit Sastiel biased here!) OR... Castiel had another opportunity to see Meg again? Or what if Dean hadn't got Lisa's memory erased? Like all the what if things basically. That's probably how I would have considered bringing it back.
Oh yes and of course I would have had a proper final goodbye to all the characters that were close to Sam and Dean that died before like Jo, Ellen, Ash, Garth, Kevin, Crowley, Benny, Bobby, Rowena and many others etc.
