It had been a while since Dean had been involved in a real hard hunt, which was completely out of character for him as he was the Dean Winchester, for crying out loud. But nothing was coming his way since he told the hunting world that he would be of help - but from a distance. He was a family man, as he always had been but now he was married and wanted to stay a little further out of harms way. It wasn’t until he got a call from Chance Singer saying he needed his help with a case that he just couldn’t crack alone - he knew he owed it to Bobby and truth be told, he was going stir crazy without action.
Dean walked up to the familiar house that he was practically raised in, and knocked on the door. It would be hard to see it open and it not be the father figure he loved so dearly, but Chance was like a little brother to him, as was he to Sam, so not coming would have been going against family - and Dean wasn’t about that.
“Hey Chancey, how are you kiddo?”
