SPN Nostalgia - Day 1

Season 1 Scenery and the Winchester Brothers

One of the reasons I fell in love with Supernatural in S1 is the dark, often gloomy, striking and silhoutted cinematography. The boys look like works of art in the sunless and shadowy spaces.

So here are some of my favourite moments from season 1 set to Siken's classic (Wincest) verses.

If Heaven was still about driving down memory lane, Sam and Dean would have revisited the motels of their youth :

the ones where they shared happy/ meaningful moments as well as the countless ones where nothing really happened, all these half-lit, half-price rooms where they did the most mundane things, just content to be together. 

(well, the room from Mystery Spot wouldn’t be a stop but the glimpses of their domesticity it offers are immaculate so here it is)
