If you’re a fan of any of the NWI bands like CONEHEADS, LIQUIDS, or the NOT FROM NWI band ERIK NERVOUS, then Spodee Boy is for you. I got to book Spodee Boy/ Erik Nervous along with the band i do vocals in (LOST SYSTEM) last winter in Grand Rapids, MI while they were on tour together. It was the first time I set up a show by myself and it was at the worst possible location: Mulligans(sorry guys- not to the venue but the bands). Connor Cummings is the mastermind behind Spodee Boy and we quickly became friends because we are both obsessed with Australian post-punk bands( he tried to trade me all of the spodee boy tapes they had for my LOW LIFE - DOGGIN record but I couldn’t do it). Excellent live band with members from many different bands in the Nashville scene.Released by Drop Medium and for fans of DEVO, obviously.
