Viola Spolin. #Teatro #Theatro #Spolin #Improvisación
Got in touch with my theater roots with these clowns. #spolin #sills #theatregames (at Subud Los Angeles)
@katinkadragongirl ‘s characters Wolin and Spike!!!
First two pictures are based off this fic it’s so good please read it
Downpour (Spolin)
Another fic just wrote itself (aka I had no synopsis in my head while writing). And it just decided that it wants to be present tense like one page in, so I had to comply. It's interesting how much different my writing gets when I write present tense, but it's also fun to write.
On a sidenote, anyone keeping up with the Olympics? I'm not really into sports myself, but it's one thing I still enjoy watching.
Pairing: Spolin (Spike and Wolin)
Word count: 2171 words
Warning: the word “fuck” here and there
Things Spike loves include Wolin, good music and sleeping in. Things he hates are for example boring lectures, anxiety and rain. Not like, watching rain from inside a cosy room, bundled up in warm blankets and preferably cuddling with Wolin but like standing outside in a thin coat, soaking wet, and cold from the whipping wind and feeling angry at everything.
Because god damn it, his bus is running so late it's getting stupid, or maybe it had managed to break down somewhere (Spike wouldn’t be surprised, seeing the state some old buses were in) and now he has to wait for the next one. And that will be at least twenty minutes in the pouring rain, because this damn bus stop is the only one around that doesn’t even have a shelter and so Spike is at the mercy of nature throwing a tantrum. Thank you very much, that wasn’t on his list of plans for today. Duh, if it was, he would have brought an umbrella and probably worn boots instead of sneakers.
Why does it have to rain in May in the first place? I mean, okay, apparently rain in May is worth gold, but seriously? Plus if it just absolutely has to rain, then it could be a small drizzle with the sun still shining. Not an entire pouring rain with no hope of clearing up soon. Oops, he just saw lightning off to the right in the distance. Because all he needs right now is a raging storm upon his head, next to the little cartoonish cloud that might as well be floating above him. Please note the sarcasm.
He pulls his jacket tighter around his body in a hopeless attempt to protect himself more. His favourite jacket as well, the black zip-up hoodie with three V-shaped green stripes down the upper arms. If it somehow got ruined from the abundance of water, Spike would freak and then probably sue the weather or something.
After a few minutes of further suffering, Spike could hear footsteps approaching. His thoughts were dangling between “lucky bastard didn’t have to stand here as long as me” and “another poor soul joins me in my splashy hell”. But when he looks up to check the new arrival, it all turns to “is my bus really this late or…?” on an instant.
Spike immediately recognised the newcomer, but otherwise the first noticeable thing about him is the bright, rainbow coloured umbrella topping his appearance and making him look like a giant gay mushroom. At least make it blue-purple-pink, will you? Or grey and purple.
Either way, it's Wolin, wearing just shorts and a button-up but on the other hand not soaked to the bone and more importantly not looking like a grumpy puli left outside in the rain. He smiles instantly when he sees his boyfriend, no matter the miserable state Spike is currently in.
Spike contemplates staying angry at the world because damn his cute boyfriend and his sunshine-bright grin that's so sweet he can't even get mad at him for it and also damn that stupid button-up that just looks way too good on him it shouldn't be allowed and really just damn everything in general because Spike can feel his toes getting cold inside his wet socks and his headphones are probably ruined inside his not-so-waterproof bag. But who could stay concentrated on stupid wet socks and staying grumpy when fucking bundle of sunshine Wolin is there and grinning like a goofy puppy or something like that because he gets to see his boyfriend a little sooner. Just damn everything, honestly.
“Hey.” Spike grumbles and tries to give Wolin a pointed look, but it doesn't work because if anyone, Wolin knows Spike too much to find him intimidating in a situation like this.
“Hey.” echoes Wolin, but in a much more cheerful tone and gives his boyfriend a small peck on the cheek, and it surprises Spike so much he forgets to look grumpy.
Then suddenly the rain stops pouring into the back of Spike's shirt and he looks up to find that damn umbrella he's secretly fond of right above his head. It's made for two people and he's glad because Wolin is a selfless little shit who would just give his umbrella to his already soaked boyfriend if it wasn't big enough for the two of them.
Spike wants to be sassy and inform him that it's no use because the umbrella won't dry him and he's already too far gone, but Wolin is too much of a sweetheart and it wouldn't change anything anyway. So Spike decides that it's really a lot better to be mock angry at how cute his boyfriend is than being actually angry at just about everything else.
“My last lecture was cancelled! I'm lucky.” Wolin says, knowing that he isn't supposed to be on his way home just yet on a normal Thursday.
Spike turns his head to look up and straight at the umbrella with a grimace. His hair is falling onto his face even more, so he can barely see and he hates that the water starts streaming down his face from the movement. “I can see that.” he notes, directed mostly at the umbrella.
“Hey, I was raised to be prepared.” jokes Wolin, but it's more like he's just more cautious with the weather and by no means he is criticising Miss Scartah's abilities. “Also to check the weather forecast.”
“Fuck you.” that's all Spike mutters and Wolin laughs, he freaking straight-up laughs while standing in the rain and waiting for the stupid bus that's still running late, and so the corners of Spike's mouth twitch upwards because Wolin's laugh is contagious. And Spike finds yet another reason he wishes it wasn't raining because if they didn't need an umbrella then they could hold hands and that would be really nice. Plus Wolin got a new bracelet next to that wide leather-band he always wears and Spike wants to look at it closer. He knows Wolin got it from a girl on campus because he had helped her with an essay. Spike's not jealous, he's friends with the girl too and she's cool and he really wants to see the bracelet because damn that girl has magical hands when it comes to jewellery and Spike wishes she was selling them because he'd totally buy something from her and he doesn't even like jewellery.
Spike is shaken from his thoughts when another flash of lightning reaches them and this time he can hear the thunder too. He wraps his arms around himself, not because he's scared but because the wind is picking up and he's cold, and stares the way the worst part of the storm is approaching from.
“I hope the bus gets here before that does.” Wolin voices both of their thoughts and Spike nods.
Another whip of wind reaches them and Spike gives it some angry advice on where to go instead. Wolin laughs again and Spike looks at him offended because how can someone laugh in a situation like this. So he sticks his tongue out at him and almost jumps out of his skin when Wolin puts the umbrella's handle into his other hand so that he could wrap an arm around him.
“What in God's green name are you doing?” Spike frowns, mostly because looks like he can't even swear properly anymore and that's no laughing matter.
But Wolin still laughs and rubs Spike's shoulder.
“Yay, let's freeze to death together!” Spike grumbles, but it's not even that authentic. Wolin chuckles into his hair (still why the fuck is he so happy when it's raining) and Spike hunches against him a little bit. There's, like, less than two inches of height difference between them originally and Spike is kind of angry at that, especially that it looks like more because of how Wolin wears his hair, but now he's letting it slide because Wolin kisses the top of his head and while that's still not worth getting soaked for, it's nice nonetheless.
Wolin says something about Spike being cute, but Spike mostly misses it because the stupid rain is drumming too loudly on the umbrella. He doesn't object though because he'd given up on being all tough and macho a long ago if it means he can't be called cute by his boyfriend.
There's another thunder, this time from even closer and neither of them like what that tells, not one bit. But that's the moment the bus finally decides to arrive and despite the stupid rain, Spike smiles because fucking finally he can go home.
The doors of the bus open and Spike reaches to fish out his pass from his pocket, but Wolin just pulls him up the steps, shaking the water off the umbrella the best he can. The bus driver is one they already know and he knows them too, so he doesn't ask for their passes because he knows they have them, plus he has a heart and wouldn't bother them when they're already wet and cold and probably just want to get home already. So they just mutually say hello and the two boys walk down the middle to find two seats.
The bus is definitely not empty, but there are still free seats and a lady just got off, leaving two empty ones next to each other for Wolin and Spike to sit in. Wolin slips in next to the window without a word because he knows that the windows on these old buses usually leak in the rain and he doesn't want another thing ruining Spike's day. He puts the umbrella next to his feet and keeps his bag on his lap. Spike does the same with his own bag and then rests his head on Wolin's shoulder. He knows his hair is wet and cold and that it must be soaking Wolin's shirt and cold against his neck, but Wolin had already held him at the bus stop, so it's not like he will be bothered.
He closes his eyes for a second and wishes they were home already. He's tired. It's not like his day at the university was particularly taxing, but standing outside in the rain and freezing is pretty tiring as he had found out. He smiles when he feels Wolin kissing his head again and he can also feel fingers curling around his own and they're just a little bit warmer, but it's still nice.
Spike spends the whole ride home lazily looking around the bus like he usually does and he silently promises himself to take a warm shower, then put on one of Wolin's big hoodies and lie down as soon as he gets home. He relishes in Wolin drawing circles into the back of his hand and also decides that he won't let him spend his whole evening studying. Maybe they could watch a movie (they still haven't got around to watching Zootopia and it's been sitting untouched on Spike's pendrive since a friend had sent it over) or something, and he thinks there's still some of his mum's brownies in the fridge too. After this stupid rain and the bus running late and with a storm approaching, they both deserve a nice evening.
When they finally get off at their stop, Spike is the one holding the umbrella and Wolin gives him a fond look he doesn't fully understand. So he just shakes his head to get the hair out of his eyes (he fails) and quickens his steps because fuck, it's still cold.
Once inside the flat, Spike disappears in the bathroom and when he comes out again with just a towel around his waist because of course he forgot to bring clothes, Wolin throws his biggest, warmest hoodie at him and Spike grins at him and thanks him with a kiss on the cheek. They decide to watch Zootopia and they both know that it's a new movie and you don't fall asleep during new movies, but the couch is pulled out and there's the blanket they got for Christmas from a friend, which is the fluffiest blanket in existence. So about halfway through the movie when probably something interesting is happening but Spike's mind is too tired to know, Spike presses a kiss to Wolin's cheek, mutters a “goodnight” and lies down to sleep. Just like that, on the couch. And Wolin decides that honestly, he's getting sleepy as well, plus he wouldn't want Spike missing the rest of the movie, so he turns it off, and then the lights too and grabs the blanket. He lies down next to Spike, who's already asleep, and wraps the blanket around the two of them. He can do that, he's already in his pyjamas anyway, the Snoopy ones. So he just pulls Spike close by the waist and hums a goodnight even though he can't hear it. In a few moments, he's alseep as well.
Spolin for the otp question thing!!
I LOVE YOU YOU KNOW THAT?!
Who is the most affectionate?
WOLIN
Big spoon/Little spoon?
Wolin is the big spoon like 90% of the time they’re in a spooning position, when it’s Spike, Wolin usually mentions it (playfights ensue)
Most common argument?
They don’t argue or fight much (they don’t fight at all actually), but their most common disagreement is when Spike is being a lazy ass/not tending to his studies as much as he could or should. But Wolin has better ways of making him study than fighting
Favorite non-sexual activity?
I still haven’t made up my mind about where they live (let’s just admit, it’ll probs end up as Budapest anyway) but either way, there must be some sort of park nearby where they can just sit and relax, read or study when the weather is nice. They also have movie nights a lot
Who is most likely to carry the other?
They are basically the same height and weight (Wolin being slightly bigger in both aspects), so neither can lift the other that much, so it doesn’t happen often. Spike is more likely to attempt, Wolin is more likely to succeed
What is their favorite feature of their partner’s?
Spike’s favourite thing about Wolin is his soft pure golden heart, Wolin’s favourite thing about Spike is when he’s sleepy or generally has his guard down and acts a lot less tough and a lot more nice and even gentle if it comes to it
What’s the first thing that changes when they realize they have feelings for the other?
Spike both freaks out and shrugs it off at the same time. Like, half of him is like “nonoNONONO you can’t fall in love with him???” and the other is “i mean, he’s cute…and really really kind…why tf not” so it causes him to act weirdly around Wolin, sometimes way too rude and assholish, sometimes very nice and sometimes even flustered.
For Wolin, it’s a subtle change of getting embarassed around him every once in a while and favouring him over other friends in certain scenarios
Nicknames? & if so, how did they originate?
Wolin likes calling Spike “boo”, Spike hates it (unless for some reason he’s being cute and even returns it once in a blue moon)
They are dorks and casually call each other dickhead and asshole and other shit like that a lot tho
No specific nicknames in my mind yet, but hoo boy you just wait
Who worries the most?
WOLIN
He generally worries about a lot of things, but most of those involve Spike
Who remembers what the other one always orders at a restaurant?
They both do if it’s a thing that always happens, but while Wolin makes it public he does, Spike doesn’t and one time he lets it slip so that Wolin would be surprised. For other tiny things about each other, it’s mainly Wolin (and he mentions it too, Spike only obeserves and adores in silence)
Who tops?
Oh look something I’ve never really gone into thinking about.
literally no idea
but they do switch
so it’s like 50-50 i guess, maybe off to the side a bit but no idea in whose favour
yeah literally no idea
I’ve never actually thought up anything about their sex life before look at me keeping them almost innocent
Who initiates kisses?
They both do about equally much, but when they are just chilling out at home on their own, suprisingly enough, Spike does it more
Who reaches for the other’s hand first?
Spike
Who kisses the hardest?
Spike again, whether it is for suggestive purposes or to make poor Wolin flustered in front of their friends
Who wakes up first?
Wolin, unless he pulled an all-nighter to study the previous night
Who wants to stay in bed just a little longer?
SPIKE
lazy ass
if there’s no hurry to do anything then Wolin likes to stay in bed with him tho
Who says I love you first?
Now as in when they got together, it was Wolin
As in everyday scenarios after that, it’s also Wolin for the most part, but it’s not like Spike doesn’t ever say it first
Who leaves little notes in the other’s one lunch? (Bonus: what does it usually say?)
Wolin
Sometimes it’s stupid jokes, other times it’s lil hearts and cute stuff
Sometimes Spike does it too and it’s always some stupid pun or something along the lines of “i love you, asshole”
Who tells their family/friends about their relationship first?
Spike. The first outsider to know about their relationship (and of Spike’s feelings for Wolin before that) is Miss Scartah (Spike’s stepmom)
What do their family/friends think of their relationship?
They are all very supportive and happy for them!! (idc if anyone says this is some dumb utopia i have grown tired of reading fanfics where people get abused for loving a certain person and all that is written by some 14yo who only uses it as a minor story element that totally doesn’t scar someone forever and takes ages to recover from)
of course to some people they had to explain what their sexual/romantic orientations meant, etc, but they didn’t lose people or get hurt
Who is more likely to start dancing with the other?
Wolin, on romantic evenings alone in their flat and probably with cute/cheesy music. Spike laughs and goes along with it
Who cooks more/who is better at cooking?
They can both cook pretty well, but Wolin actually enjoys it too so he volunteers to cook more. In return, Spike does the dishes more
Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines?
Spike, as long as they are shitty as well or include puns. Wolin is more for coming up with compliments he doesn’t even realise are cheesy
Who whispers inappropriate things in the other’s ear during inappropriate times?
Now by inappropriate times do we mean sexy times or this-is-not-the-place-nor-the-time-you-asshole?
Either way, it’s Spike. He’s a dick
Who needs more assurance?
Spike works and reacts really well to positive responses/assurance, but he won’t show that for anything. He still needs it tho and somehow Wolin just knows. But Wolin does need it as well because it gets really draining being the kind guy who always puts others before himself when no one is even telling you that you’re doing things right
What would be their theme song?
I swear I had an idea for this but I can’t remember?? If I ever do or find another one, I’ll post about it
Who would sing to their child back to sleep?
Wolin. He can’t sing, but he would hum. Spike has an alright voice actually, but he’d only sing to their child (or to anyone really) in extreme cases
What do they do when they’re away from each other?
Try to skype/text/etc as much as they can. Wolin would take/keep something of Spike’s, like a hoodie or something with him, bc he doesn’t even deny that he’ll miss Spike terribly. Spike says he will be fine (not that he won’t miss Wolin) but ends up scrolling through pics of Wolin on his phone when he wakes up at like 2am to being alone and sleeps hugging the duvet because he can’t sleep without hugging something but that something is usually Wolin
one headcanon about this OTP that breaks your heart
the worst thing about ocs is that there are no headcanons, there’s only canon
shit
i like not thinking about bad shit about them bc that makes me really sad (esp that they are both characters that are very close to me)
i just don’t want anything bad to happen to them okay
okay not a headcanon but a scenario that could happen or did happen could be Wolin having a breakdown (he does have those every now and then, when he’s too overwhelmed or feeling alone or useless or he got stepped on/used/etc and he does have both anxiety- and panic attacks bc of his PTSD) and Spike (or anyone else) not being there to help him through it
one headcanon about this OTP that mends it
THEY GET A HAPPY ENDING AND LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER
no really, they do
they end up happy and not struggling for money anymore, Wolin becomes a professor at a university (the same one he studied at) and idk yet what Spike ends up as but they will have a dog and possibly a child or more and everything will be alright
also another not so vague one is that sleepy Spike means a Spike with no tough exterior and lots of loving thoughts that he actually speaks for once so Wolin finds it worthwhile to stay up with him on nights he can’t sleep not just because he’s a good boyfriend but also because Spike tells him things like, that despite being a dick during the day and all that, he does really love him and that he’s amazing and all that and Wolin says shit like that back to him and it’s all perfect and cute bc they’re so fuckin in love
Teaching The Joy of Improv to tonight for @thepitnyc. Taking it back to The Source! #improv #spolin
MOSSWOOD 2016. A great retreat for acquiring improv skills, interpersonal and stress relief because it’s so much fun.
Humble Miracles (Spolin one-shot)
I started writing this out of boredom on the 26th and actually finished it today, which is a really nice one in my case.
So have a little fluff about their first Christmas ^.^ I didn't write it into this, but I love to imagine them standing and staring at their newly decorated tree, Wolin hugging Spike from behind and they're both at awe because wow they have their own Christmas tree, in their own home and they're gonna celebrate Christmas together
I might write a short drabble or something about the naming of Spike's gift because I have an idea for that (not the name but how it happens and stuff)
Also, Spike's kinda a rude butt in this (then again, he kinda always is) but he doesn't mean to be this once
Word count: 1697 words
Wolin sighed deeply as he pulled the blanket over his shoulders tighter around himself. He was sat on the couch, in the small, quiet apartment. There were no decorations in sight, only a Christmas tree - an old, faded and raggedy plastic thing he found looking around in his parents' garage. Some paling, even cracked baubles and clumsily handmade ornaments were hanging from the crooked branches, alongside some tinsel that sprinkled more particles onto the carpet than kept them together on the branches, with no lights to brighten the image. It was a faint excuse for anything festive, let alone a proper Christmas tree, Wolin knew and admitted, but it was the best they had and definitely the most they could afford.
His eyes travelled to his watch, knowing Spike would be home soon. He was back at his mother's place (foster mother actually, but they never mentioned that), paying her a short visit though they have spent the previous day together too - Miss Scartah had insisted on the visit. Wolin got up, slowly retrieving a near-empty box of matches from the kitchen. Might as well light some candles to warm up the atmosphere. He sat back down again, pulling his blanket back up, enjoying the homey, flickering light.
Merely a few minutes passed before he could clearly hear the handle of the front door turn, shuffling noises coming from the hall. Leaving the blanket over his shoulders he made his way to greet his boyfriend, as he knew for sure no one else would be coming around their place at such an odd time.
Spike's dark coat was already on the hanger and he was trying to shake his dishevelled hair out of his bright eyes when the other emerged from the adjacent room.
"Hey.", Wolin smiled, immediately stepping closer.
"Hey, babe.", the response came without delay and the two lovers became wrapped up in a tight hug, Wolin grabbing onto the corners of his blanket and pulling it around the both of them. They stayed like that for a few moments, some bittersweet feeling settling onto them like heavy dust, before Wolin pulled away slightly, carefully capturing his boyfriend's lips in an unbelievably gentle kiss.
Slowly Spike escaped the embrace afterwards, lovingly smiling at the other and picking up the foil-covered tray that Wolin failed to notice before from the top of the thin cabinet. Stepping into the living room and placing the tray down onto the worn coffee table, his smile only grew upon seeing the lit candles and their ugly Christmas tree.
"Mum sent these.", Spike announced as he removed the foil, revealing a nice selection of homemade gingerbread, brownies and similar sweets of the kind. Wolin sighed happily - Miss Scartah always tried to help the two of them get by without actually seeming to do so and now it was clear, the cookies were her main reason to ask her son to visit again so soon. Spike reached gladly for a gingerbread star right after revealing the sweets, but his wrist was swiftly caught by his lover.
"Hey, gifts first.", Wolin shook his head, chuckling. Today was their Christmas, they kept their gifts to this evening, planning to cuddle and watch cliché movies after until they fell asleep.
"Alright, fine.", Spike squinted, dragging the "i" childishly. Then he turned, light as ever on his feet and bounded into the bedroom to retrieve the gift he kept hidden in the bottom of the wardrobe.
The other smiled to himself warmly, dropping his blanket onto the couch and instead picking up his gift that has already been on the coffee table, right next to the tray. He thumbed at the wrapping paper fondly, hoping that what was inside would make his lover happy. He always had his doubts when giving gifts, fearing he made a mistake and got the wrong thing.
He didn't have time to think more though as Spike trotted back into the small living room, waving his gift around in his hand excitedly. Once he settled, standing in front of his boyfriend, he scratched the back of his neck nervously.
"So...", he looked down awkwardly. "Merry Christmas."
"Merry Christmas, love.", Wolin hummed in response immediately, bringing him into a hug. The other eagerly buried his face into his boyfriend's neck, the presents definitely not the most important thing that moment. Before pulling away fully, they shared a slow, sweet kiss, both of them smiling.
The moment was perfectly romantic, up until Spike looked down at what he was holding and shoved the gift into the other's chest, laughing. "There, you big nerd!"
"Hey!", Wolin exclaimed, catching the present and giggling as well. "There, you dork.", he only nudged the box in his hand against Spike, being a lot more careful.
Still snickering, they settled on the couch without a further word, the old piece of furniture groaning under their combined weight as if it hadn't experienced their countless, long cuddling sessions before. For a good few seconds the only noise that could be heard was the ripping of paper and their occasional chuckles that came with the process.
"How on Earth did you wrap this?!", Wolin laughed at the mess on his lap.
"Dunno, man, I suck at wrapping gifts.", the other shot back playfully, his eyes beaming as the next moment he freed a pretty cardboard box from the wrapping. "Now I'm gonna wait until you unwrap yours."
"Alright, alright, give me a sec.", and fairly enough, the next second he finally tore the remaining large part of the paper off. Of course he could have finished a lot quicker, but he was trying to make the smallest mess possible.
On Wolin's lap lay a book - a rather simple one at that, but it didn't mean anything. Don't judge a book by its cover, they say. As the blond male flipped it around, a wide smile found its way to his features and the precious book was placed aside momentarily in order for him to be able to pull Spike into a tight hug, mumbling his thank-yous.
Honestly, Spike had little to no idea what the book was about. All he knew was that it was a new one by one of his boyfriend's favourite authors and Wolin really wanted it but would have never bought it for himself. The two only ever bought old, ragged books from second-hand bookshops or they had to borrow them from the library. Brand new books were a luxury, way more expensive than what they could normally afford.
Obviously, Spike's gift was next – well, once his boyfriend let go of him.
He carefully lifted the lid of the box up, peeking inside curiously but practically throwing it off the next second. Inside sat a puppy plushie, staring at the boy with its black, beady eyes.
"I know it's not a real puppy, but...", Wolin shrugged sheepishly and looked at the floor. The other just stared for a second until a joyful smile spread on his face. He suddenly remembered when Wolin asked him what he wanted for Christmas and he just said a puppy simply to piss him off.
Spike chuckled, shaking his head leniently, a loving glow present in his eyes. Then he turned back to the plushie, petting its head.
"So now you live with us.", he told the pup before grabbing it and throwing it up in the air happily. "I have a puppy!", he caught said puppy again but his laughter stopped when he saw a piece of paper gliding onto the couch next to him.
He swiftly picked the slip of paper up, then glanced at the plushie and saw the other, similar one tucked behind its collar. Now he had two little papers in his hand, staring at them in disbelief.
Cinema tickets. They were cinema tickets, something that, just like new books, they simply couldn't afford. Especially when they were struggling to make ends meet, like around the holiday season that year, no matter how unfair the timing was.
Wolin smiled shyly at the other's stunned gaze. Some new movie was going to be on show in just week or so and Spike had seemed so excited about it. Yes, the cost of the two tickets was most likely money they were going to miss dearly during such tough times and he knew it very well. Still, he just really wanted to see Spike happy.
"These...", Spike trailed off, still staring at the tickets. "These must have cost a freaking fortune."
"It wasn't that bad...just a few extra hours at the café here and there...", his biggest anxiety was, what if Spike didn't like it? Or if he got mad because he thought it was stupid wasting money on things like that? Oh God, what if he got tickets to the wrong movie!
His rather miserable train of thought was cut off by Spike calling him a "freaking idiot" in the possible most affectionate way. When he looked up he saw that his boyfriend had scooted closer to him and the next second he was pulled into a tight hug, which he returned eagerly. They stayed wrapped up in each other, Spike occasionally murmuring his thank-yous and various curses of his lover being an idiot into his shoulder before they pulled away. Their cheeks felt quite warm for some reason, especially the younger's, after the hug and when Wolin received a very soft kiss on his forehead, which was actually quite the rarity. Finally Spike settled comfortably on his boyfriend's lap, leaning into his chest happily and still giving him little kisses on his cheek and jaw.
"So, movie night?", he hummed between two kisses.
"I think we should change first, we'll probably just end up falling asleep here.", Wolin suggested, resting his head against the other's.
"Fine. I hate sleeping on this couch though.", he groaned.
"Really?", the blond raised an eyebrow. "We both know you're not gonna be sleeping on the couch, you're gonna be sleeping on me."
"Okay, true.", and with that and one final kiss to Wolin's temple, he jumped up and made his way to the bedroom to change.
