BeautyBlender BlenderCleanser Solid
I had a difficult time finding something that would fully cleans my BeautyBlender without ruining it. This works wonders on my BeautyBlender! It removes all the excess residue and germs on not only my BeautyBlender but on all my sponges! To use I take the BeautyBlender and the BlenderCleanser run it under warm water while rubbing together into a lather. Repeat on all sides. I don’t scrub too hard so I don’t damage the sponge. I didn’t have to put a lot of work into cleaning it, it only takes less than 3 minutes to get any sponge clean! To store the BlenderCleanser I use the tin box from Bite Beauty Best of Bite Remix.
The BlenderCleanser even works on brushes too! But not it doesn’t work as well. I have to wash the brushes at least 2 times sometimes even 3, to get all the makeup residue build up. The downfalls aren’t just with the cleaning brushes but with the sponges as well. The first time I washed my BeautyBlender it started to fade the pretty color not by a little bit but by a ton. Each time I wash any of my sponges the color just fades away. And each time I wash anything wth the BlenderCleanser I use a ton of product in a matter of seconds. So it didn’t last long with me, I had to stock up to test it out for 3 months. The worst part is that it dries out my hands just after washing 3 sponges.
Since the Cleanser dried out my hands I wanted to know what ingredients were in this. Contains Sodium Palmate is just soap that strips anything of oil. Gylcein retains moisture and softens. Coconut acid to create a fluffy lather and helps create the firmness of soap. Sodium Chloride to softening the hairs or sponges and hydrates.
I thought this was the best and only thing that could deep cleanse my sponges, but I heard that hotel soap is the best route to go. So I am holding off on buying another BlenderCleanser until I try the hotel soap. Especially since this dries out my hands a lot.
Price: $16
