Hey sweethearts. Um I know I'm super behind the valentines day requests but considering everything with my eyes. Would you mind if they were smaller imagines/one shots instead of full on fics?

Considering how your nutcrackers are kinda parasitic, what would ya think would happen if one of them got kinda stuck in an employee suit? Or even just with an employee?

So the thing about modern nutcracker parasites is that they've been bred and so genetically modified that they can't really survive without their nutcracker shell! but for funsies we can bend the rules a lil bit lol

so in a situation where a parasite is found without a shell or lost it or smth similar and there just so happens to be an employee or suit nearby, they're definitely not gonna pass up the chance to use them as temporary shells for protection.

The best case I think is that they find an empty employee suit to use, and probably do something similar to connell where they use their tendrils wrapping around themselves to stand up like human muscles! tho it definitely would be more difficult to control without any of the metal supports lol

worst case scenario, i imagine a human skeleton is some of the best nonmechanical supports for a nutcracker parasite. esp if you consider my hc that they and masked parasites are related somehow

So Mavros is a p grumpy grandpa who has some, issues lol

He's really skeptical and untrusting to others, hell he almost attacked Connell when they first met lol

even if you show that you're not a threat physically he could still think you're a spy or trying to manipulate them, BUT if you're determined and patient enough then he might start to warm up to ya! he might not show his care in a traditional sense but you know he likes you when he starts telling you what to do and teach you things!

like with Connell when Mavros realized Connell is a big ol softy he started teaching him "how to be a nutcracker" (aka how to use his weapon, what to look out for, how to patrol, and things you wouldn't know from being raised in a lab like phrases, code words, and hand signals) and taught him how to survive better cause he wants him to be safe and to Mavros that's what he has to offer! very grandpa core lol

but good luck trying to get him to admit that, its actions ya gotta look out for lol

*blows up ask box with mind* If Connell is mostly fleshy guy and less metal, does that mean he’s able to do the splits? The only nutcracker able to effectively dance the Nutrcracker ballet? (That would be such a flex on his fellow crackers)

Also, does that mean Connell doesn’t produce nutcrackerangry.ogg when in sentry mode? I always HC that nutcrackers have a built in music box/stereo somewhere in them that plays the music, but if he’s mostly flesh then it makes me wonder how much mechanical function he has traded off for agility and reaction time compared to his regular contemporaries.

As a prototype war machine, it makes sense not to prioritize having blaringly loud “I’m going to kill you” music. Can you imagine how obnoxious that gets for a war machine to play every time its trying to kill something? Also a great way to alert everyone that you’re there. (then again, he’s 8’6, so I presume sneaking isn’t his forte)

Is his kick as strong as a regular nutcracker? Since I presume he’d have to rely almost purely on muscle strength alone to move the lower half of his body on top of the added weight of being one tall boi.

How did their first experience with an employee go? I can only imagine the confusion/irritation as short orange creature tries and fails to whack them in the eye with a shovel because he’s just that tall. Unless it didn’t go that way and the employee was smart enough to try and outrun him. Emphasis on *try*

How does he feel about being abandoned? Mavros has the benefit of losing his mind, but Connell is fresh out of his coma. I can only imagine the shock at seeing the quiet desolation of the world around him, on top of feeling left behind (when in reality everyone thought you were dead, not that he’d know it)

I would think that, regardless of the past and at least the very least, they have each other.

(ur actually so welcome here I was hoping to get an ask so I can get into trivia about my goobers hehehehe)

ok to start off (sorry if this becomes long btw I love talking lol), yes! Connell is crazy flexible and with how he's built, it even allows him to basically detach the armor in certain spots! though he might need some practice if he's gonna be in a ballet lol

and no connell doesn't have a music box cause he doesn't need it! which plays into my personal hc that only drummers and nutcracker guards have them! connell doesn't need it cause he was supposed to be rushing into battle and blowing shit up with his gun, but drummers would play the music to keep the soldiers in line, and on time and guard nutcrackers in the mansion would play the loud music as a warning siren! they were basically walking home security systems so when they would find a threat they would play the music to alert the others! so with that, connell doesn't have one but mavros does! he used to be a security nutcracker before being recalled and sent to war, so if you were to hit him in the lower back region,

then his old music box would start sounding off! even tho it not the nicest sounding lol

connell is VERY strong and does have a pretty hard kick. nutcracker parasites are basically all muscle and eyes and connell is p smart. the way he keeps himself up with little help from mechanics is cause he wraps around himself in the legs. it kinda acts like a spring and supports itself! and cause of this his first interaction was, interesting. he's usually p docile, a gentle giant most of the time cause his training/programming is a little different (his system is based on a danger level rather than, not in ally colors = kill on sight). but one time an employee thought it would be fun to try and accidentally hit the crack on the back of his head-

and yeah, it was pretty hard for Connell to realize he was forgotten, especially if you know how he was "raised"

but hes slowly learning to grow past it and heal, he deff has some issues and if you watch him closely he stands REALLY close to people and has a tendency to follow them everywhere. but with mavros, even if he has a "tough love" style and says connell needs to "act like the soldier he is." they do really appreciate each other and mavros does help him a lot with understanding who he is.

so far all my interactions have been really slay and nice like when I drew @ballcrusher74 and @lethalcontracts sillies for fun, my friends are STILL using gyatt bless its SO funny and contracts just has a really silly guy and really nice, deff a clay fan now so cool :D

@hashal-hutcracker super cool person too!!! we've been talking about our sillies n such and i love their characters, not just their nutcrackers!! super cool person and thx sm for putting up with me lmaooo plus all the art you do of our goobers i cant thank you enough, i need to pay it back lol

also also, @sodabranch coolest person ever. they've been in my infodumps and notifs and exploding my characters!!/pos

plus the art they did of connell?? omg??? its my phone background btw, everytime i turn on my phone i see ur art i hope you know that thank you sm it makes my day and justice is in my doodle victim folder on th lol

I do have my "personal" discord server that i originally made to update people on commissions and adopts im makeing BUT its totally open for people to come in and be silly!! We talk about our ocs and goobers all the time! :]
