Yeah, you’re right. In the 90′s the mantle of the Ghost Rider was passed to Daniel Ketch and Johnny was left mostly powerless except for some hellfire manipulation. Danny actually turned out to be Johnny’s brother and the whole Ghost Rider thing was supposed to be this big family curse for the first born. Although, if I remember right, Danny didn’t host the same entity as Johnny did. Instead of sharing headspace with Zarathos, I think Ketch was channelling the spirit of Noble Kale, who was one of their ancestors. A lot of the Ghost Rider mythology gets a little confusing after a while since it’s been through so many retcons over the years. Sometimes it’s a demon, sometimes it’s a cursed ghost, sometimes it’s a weapon of heaven. Who knows what it’ll be next?
