A local ‘haunted house’. A coal-company-owned home, legend has it that some atrocity occurred there and the next mining family to move in was so spooked by strange happenings that they left the very next day, taking what fit in their car, leaving behind the rest. It’s been empty every since. Aside from the fact that it was ‘company housing’ for miners, I’ve no clue if any of the spooky claims are true. Cool story though ☠
And the pond behind the haunted house where a woman’s body was found… never determined if it was murder or suicide ☠
