Apparently, taking pictures of this book at night is the way to best capture the spooky faces hidden on the cover... 🤤 . . . Anyway, I finished The Grip of It by Jac Jemc! Second book for #Spookathon FINISHED! This was the one for the #SpookySetting challenge task. 😀 . . . Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by its "ending." Nothing was resolved! We didn't learn who - or even if - James and Julie were being haunted by. We didn't learn what happened to Rolf. We didn't learn what was up with those children in the woods. We didn't learn how Julie got all those bruises (temporal lobe epilepsy didn't explain them, or so we WERE told). 😡 . . . Basically, we were given all of the mysteries and then NONE were solved! *ARGH!!!!!* 😤😠 . . . But Max is cute, and made for the best of reading buddies, so it wasn't a total loss. 😉😍❤ . . . #DogsofInstagram ❤😍❤😍❤
