Oh hey btw a fun thing idk if y'all know about but I think they're a cool thing to know for whump (especially in fantasy or historically):
Invalid feeders!
They're like little teapot looking things that were used to give very sick and weak patients things like water, broth, milk & flour mixtures, etc!
The patient was propped up (bc choking) but otherwise could stay lying down, and it was cleaner than spoon-feeding since the liquids would stay so contained!
There's better articles on them out there (and this isn't my picture ofc), but yeah invalid feeders! Go forth! :)
