having actual subscribers to my magazine makes me feel so blessed because its actual consistent income i can expect every month. ppl always demoralize the idea of subscription services and i can understand that in a lot of cases- often its a way for big corp to get you to pay for something that used to be or should be free. but for me, a small, disabled owned business? its a lifeline. i cant work most regular jobs so the idea that i can do this instead is genuinely such a load off my back. im not yet at a point where i could forego a day job and do this full time. but maybe someday.

edition two of the spoonie supplement, my chronic illness magazine for all things disability, is finished! its being sent out to prereaders now ready for its debut on the 27th of october!

in the meantime, im looking for anyone willing to send in pictures of themselves, their mobility aids, assisistive devices, or really anything they use to help their chronic illness for the cover page (its a collage page and i will blur/crop faces at your request)

im willing to give anyone who does a discount code for the issue but cant do much mire beyond that other than thank you all profusely for your help as we are just such a small business

also if anyone would like to say somethibg they’d love to see in the winter edition now is the perfect time!

hey guys!

so, recently i’ve made three sets of communication cards, and the spoonie supplement (kind of an ongoing project there)

i also intend to start making pin badges once i recieve the equipment!

but what i really want to know right now is what do you guys want to see? is there anything for chronic illness you wished would exist but just doesnt? i want to work on projects that help the community but i dont want to jump straight into a project without any community input.

so if theres anything you wished you had access to, or a topic you want to see covered in the next issue of the spoonie supplement, maybe even a zine just for one topic or a gift set geared toward chronic illness- whatever it is, let us know!
