Type: Halloween Headcanons
A/N: Spoopyween is just around the corner and since it's my favorite time of the year... Let's throw in random spoopyween hcs here and there!
N seems like the type of person who doesn't understand the meaning behind most, if not all holidays. You would need to sit him down every time and explain to him the meaning behind it all, and since Halloween is meant to be fun, tell him all the fun things about it!
He never got to experience or celebrate any of these holidays during his childhood or his time with Team Plasma/ Ghetsis so he's going to be extra confused. The only source of information he had was from his sisters, but that was far too long ago for him to remember. Show him little by little what the spooky holiday is about.
What amuses him a lot is seeing all the Ghost-type Pokemon joining in the festivities. Of course, they're mostly in it for the tricks than the treats but nevertheless it's amusing.
What he doesn't like seeing are Trainers forcing their Pokemon to dress up or purposely scaring the more timid Pokemon. He can see their sadness and annoyance and he wants to do something about it.
Doesn't understand the appeal of dressing up, but if you asked him to then he would consider it as long as it's nothing too fancy or outrageous. He will get a bit nervous about how he looks and all it takes is a few compliments here and there from you to calm him down.
He is alright with Halloween music and sound effects. All he asks is you don't play it on max volume because the time you accidentally pressed play while he was falling asleep he almost had a heart attack. He will also beg you stop playing the Monster Mash for the 100th time that day.
Instead of going Trick or Treating, he prefers to give out candy to other Trainers and their Pokemon although he might have something more specialized for them because he really doesn't think giving candy to Pokemon is a good idea
