Of course the characters are trying to get you to focus on them. Suddenly your four man team is now just you and that character, hmmm maybe it's for a quest? By the time you suspect that something is not right it's already too late

What happened to the other 2 though? Did they "glitched" and fell off a cliff and now is unreviveable? But as you blink your character pose was changing, as if they were extending a hand for you to take. Weird, you never seen this idle animation.

Would Zhongli be Yuri? I could see Kaeya or Childe as Monika given their manipulation abilities

Maybe 👀👀 but what I meant is imagine you not being able to switch to other characters in the game. And your Traveler is always picked 👀👀👀. They also start to get more sentient to you, the player.

Absolutely!!! He'll take over the characters in the other games! Subtly trying to hint at you to play Genshin bc he has more control there, he wants all your attention on him. Who knows maybe he'll alter the files and make a character look exactly like you.

You can catch his model that's non playable is always around that ncp that looks like you, always saying sweet things. But last you checked he doesn't have a love interest, maybe it's a new patch??? You ask around on forums but there's nothing about it, even people who see the videos you've posted about it points out that this is strange. Maybe you should just take a break, but at the same time you don't want to stop playing bc it's fun.
