Spotify & Controller Support
It is very difficult to find a reason to use an Android based tablet or phone for DJing over the countless iOS apps that are out there. The reasons for this are many, but the primary reason why anyone would go with iOS on an iPad is simply the fact that there is much more support out there. There are many developers who would rather go with the iOS as a backdrop than trying to get it to run with Android. The irony here is that Android devices are much more numerous and much cheaper as well. Still, the quality issues are a big deal for DJs who want to take their devices seriously. Algoriddim’s djay 2 offers to solve many of these problems with one big added bonus; you can use Spotify to import your songs. Personally I like this idea. The thought of having to upload lists of songs like I used to do with CDs is just not very appealing when I think about it. Sure, you cannot actually move the files around like you would with a regular mp3 – but you never have to worry about where a song is either. A song request would no longer be a problem. http://www.digitaldjtips.com/2014/10/djay-2-android-launches-spotify-board/
