This was so weird. My aspec self did not appreciate the lack of nuance in the dating question but I decided to take it as a friendship date. There's also just the weird parasocial element to normalizing the idea of self-insert theoretical dates that squicks me just a little bit but I think that's showing my fandom age more than anything else...
