Spotting! Now Available
Hello, loves! Now I know this isn't nail art, but in my real life I'm a software engineer. The past few months I've been working on a personal project that's near and dear to my heart, and I'm so excited to announce it's release to you all!
Spotting! is a location-based application that lets you ask other users in your area for menstrual hygiene products. It works like this: you submit a request that details what you need, where you are, and what you look like.
If there are other users (or “Spotters”) in your area, they will be notified that someone nearby has asked for assistance and, if they've got what you need, you get a helping hand!
I know that periods can be an embarrassing subject for some people, so I wanted to build Spotting! to give people a way to feel more comfortable with asking for help, and hopefully reduce the stigma around periods just a little bit.
