Harry let out a small groan at her words, shifting his head and just slightly tightening his arms around the other’s waist where he was hugging onto her like she was a pillow. “Now now darlin’, talk like that’ll get ya walkin’ the plank.” His joking words were slightly mumbled, the fingers running through his hair almost having put the half-mad pirate straight to sleep before the darkening windows had interrupted and reminded them that yes. The day was continuing on outside this room, and she needed to be home soon; or who knew when the next time her Mother would let her out and he’d be able to see her again.

Harry reached his hands up to either side of her face, giving her another kiss before pressing his lips to her forehead and giving her one of his classic half-mad grins that could almost put the Cheshire cat to shame. “Goodnight, princess.” And with that he turned and made a silent retreat, being sure that neither her Mother or sister noticed him leaving just as they hadn’t seen him come.

they’ve been chilling in bed all day, watching dumb movies and talking over the important scenes with little bits of information as well as critiquing parts of the movies. this is his favourite thing to do. to relax and be stupid with gil, because there’s nobody around to judge them for what they want to do or what they talk about. gil’s talking about something, rather passionately as well and sam finds himself being drawn in. a hand rests against his chest as he leans down and in and presses a light kiss to his lower lip. “you’re amazin’, man. i love watchin’ you get excited about stuff.”

“hey, that’s not a bad thing, y’know? sometimes it’s good to not think about anything ‘cause the world sucks ‘n who wants to think about that?” sam surely doesn’t. thinking about what’s happening outside of auradon makes him feel a little sad sometimes. he lifts his hand to cup gil’s cheek and rubs his thumb slowly over the skin, offers a small smile as he leans in to kiss the tip of his nose. “me too, man. we can be bad about it together.” although in his opinion, he thinks that gil is pretty damn good at expressing himself and he’s getting better every single day. “for what it’s worth, though, i think you’re amazin’ at everythin’.”
