i don't know much about ramadan mubarak, i wonder if you could explain it a little bit? (since google was no help 😔)

Ramadan Mubarak (رمضان مبارك)just means Merry/Happy Ramadan!!

Ramadan is a holy month where all Muslims must fast from dawn to sunset everyday for a month.

During the fasting we have to follow a set of rule so our fast is "valid":

_ can't eat nor drink. YES, NOT EVEN WATER.

_ can't curse or pick fights

_ can't have se* or be horny

_ if you get your periods you can't fast nor pray until you're clean so you'll have to fast after ramadan as a "credit" (that's how we call it)

_ if you throw up during your fast you gotta eat and again have fasting credit later.

_ there are more specific rules for special cases and pregnancies etc

_ during the month we're suposed to be more religious, pray a lot more and read the Quran.

_ after the last day of Ramadan we have the Eid which is the celebration day where we can go back to our normal life (its like our Thanksgiving or Christmas)

A lot of people don't know this but Muslims have their own calendar that depends on the position of the moon (12 month also but it's not aligned with the Christian calendar which is why you gotta Google the date of ramadan each year) so yeah I've experienced ramadan in all seasons by now

Hello! Just a heads up, the post about the cat medical bill from user 'lxve' is a scam. There's a post about this scammer and how to identify their scams here, and a detailed post on general scam red flags here, if you wanna learn. This scammer spreads their posts in two ways: first, by sending asks to totally random people, telling them not to publish those asks so they can hide how much they're spamming people and reusing asks, and second, they've started @'ing random users to get boosted that way.

The biggest giveaways for this scammer are: 1) their oldest post is only a few hours old. 2) They're using USD $ in their post, but if you inspected their directly paypal link, it will be going to the Philippines. They recently stopped using direct hyperlinks in their post to hide this. 3) They ask people to send money using paypal 'friends and family', which doesn't have protections for people if they're scammed. This scammer is also running another account right now @imse7en! Notice how similar they are

You can report the scam post through 'report something else', 'unlawful uses or content', then 'phishing!' Depending on what you're ok with, you can delete the scam post, or edit it to have 'this is a scam' in big letters in your reblog and tags, so people who see the original post see your warning in the notes. I'm sending this message to as many people as I can to warn them and share some tips :) Have a nice day!

I know it’s part of ramadan but I don’t know why the fasting for a month worry’s me a bit, I hope this isn’t rude or anything but maybe it’s just me being a worrywart

It's not even hard bro it's like eating your breakfast before dawn and eating a big dinner after sunset that's literally it. Most people actually get fatter after ramadan so don't worry, nobody is starving. The real challenge is not to cuss all day lmao
