This was a super awesome experience!!! We were sitting down at the hotel in Boise, exhausted after having just performed 2 sold out shows. Just about to partake in our post concert dinner when we noticed a couple checking in with maile leis on. They had just arrived from their wedding reception. Naturally we followed Kumu Kawika’s lead, grabbed our instruments, Hālau o Keikialiʻi dancers quickly got into formation and we proceeded to perform a beautiful private tribute for the newlyweds! They were incredibly surprised, extremely appreciative and both in tears!!
