Definitely have to #regram this one. Way to go, Kelsey! | Congrats to @kelsey2012michelle for winning this week's #spreadthelust contest with stunningly icy photo! Kelsey works in the research department of the New England Aquarium as an aerial observer and snapped this photo from the underbelly of an airplane as they flew south of Martha's Vineyard last spring. The work was part of a 3.5 year study that examined how marine fauna utilize these waters. Last season's extreme weather in Massachusetts brought an abundance of ice to the region, resulting in partial freezing of the ocean! 📷: @waterlust
