..lessons from the thing called Amazon.
Baby birds learn to fly from their mother, we all start by walking in the shadow of our parents, similarly every startup learns from the success & of those already successful and from those who have have got lost in the wild wind of time but not before leaving tons of lessons and advice.
I was going through an article in the morning that said, 'Why amazon is what it is and what makes it so special. ?'
My 2 cents of understanding from that article.
1. Jeff Bezos, the magic man behind Amazon.com founded it with the mission to be the "Earth's Most Customer-Centric Company."
What he meant by those lines was,"Listen to the customer and invent for the customer."
So whatever we do, whichever step we take, we have to keep customer in mind. Always think about the convenience of the customer, why he will buy from us, what will prompt him to come to us leaving biggies already in trade and finally what will make him, recommend our service to others. My personal parameter to judge our success is always referring customers, and the source of our profit will be returning customers.
One crucial feature at the Amazon.com Providing personalized and relevant recommendations at website.
What sets Amazon.com apart from 95% of companies. Relentless focus on customer-driven innovation.
