Spring Animals

Slow down. Slow down. Slow down.

There are lots of baby animals on the road right now.

And they don’t know what the hell is a road or a car is.

Today, I had to drive 15 minutes away, and on the way, there was a juvenile squirrel, a baby cottontail (TINY AF), a fawn, and a tiny ass turtle that I thought was some car part but NOPE DOME WITH little legs!

And within that 15 minutes, my heart is in my throat because of these animals and drivers who scream out their car window or lay on their horn because I’m driving a little slower.

This was very hungry muskrat.  He clearly didn’t like me but didn’t want to leave his eating either.
