What file type(s) do you want the spring drawakening submissions to be? I assume you're going to be compiling them all into a PDF at some point, but is there a specific file type you'd prefer to receive them as?

oh dang havent actually thought of that (altho i probably should’v e oop)

i think the safest bet is to send it in a .psd (u can flatten all the layers already if u want)! altho im p sure .png is fine as well and wont drastically change the quality or anything.

if ur as disappointed as i am about dwsa not winning any tonys clap ur hands... and put them to good use and create art because i’m starting a project to show michael arden and the rest of the dwsa cast and members how much we appreciate them for working so hard to bring #deaftalent to the theater and the world!!!

much like ham4pamphlet, i’m looking for artists who are willing to illustrate the tracklist of the musical. while this is the main focus of this compilation, i’m encouraging y’all to submit all kinds of art like your poems, writing, calligraphy, crafts - anything really that can be put into a pdf that will be sent to michael arden and the rest of the cast to show how much you appreciate these wonderful people!! my super dream goal is to be able to print a small book or zine to send to michael arden with all of these works of art and your messages but i don’t know how realistic this is for me, we’ll see haha.

if you want to apply to be one of the main artists for the tracklist, send me a message with samples of your work and which song you’d prefer to draw for (although this doesn’t guarantee that you do get the song you prefer to draw). the deadline for application is june 20 although i might extend if there arent enough artists or assign more songs to each.

if you want to send in general art, please send your submissions to [email protected] (don’t judge me i don’t want to make another account for this) with the title ‘spring drawakening’ so i can easily identify it with your url and the name and message you want with it. please make sure that your pictures or drawings are hi-res!! there is no exact deadline for now but i want to finish this around late july or august.
