Richie and Stan are roommates in college who think they have everything figured out. They very quickly find out they don't, and then realise there wasn't much to figure out in the first place.

Richie works the graveyard shift and comes home to a very sleepy Stanley. Things ensue.

“Duty calls,” Mike murmurs with a shrug, and when Bill’s about to touch another book on the shelf, he goes, “And remember: put it back nice and neatly.”
Bill flashes him a grin, one that Mike wonders if people have fallen for in the past; Bill’s handsome in the way that nineties heartthrobs tend to be, somehow a little too perfect but still managing to be human and down to earth.
“Of course,” Bill asserts, giving him a mock salute.

Mike is a student librarian where every Thursday, without fail, Bill comes to write his novel.
